Could not get it to integrate with one of the main funnel builders. The only way seems to be by zapier webhooks, which has been recommended by ClickFunnels. Pros Nothing. Cons Could not get it to integrate with ClickFunnels, despite being told that it was possible on the sales page. The training goes to a blank page. September 22, 2021 5.0 Overall I think this is one of the best tools out there for viral lead generation. If you want to build your email list faster, it's a great idea to encorporate viral list building in your business, by using contests and other viral campaigns. UpViral has been around for years, has a very good customer support and the owner/creator Wilco creates great training for customers, so you can always improve your marketing skills. Pros To be honest, the main reason I like this tool is that the whole set up is smooth and doesn't take much time. You can get a quality viral lead generation campaign up in running fast, by just using the templates and standard settings and making a few customization. Upviral makes it easy, offers enough documentation and has a very user-friendly interface. Once you play around with it for some hours, you'll feel like you know this platform and can really start creating new campaigns fast (including cloning your successful campaigns and then just changing some details). Overall this is a modern, solid tool that works great for beginners and also offers advanced settings in case you need it later. Cons There's not much that I dislike. It's all pretty solid and you can see a lot of research and testing went into the development of this tool. It's also frequently updated. I would personally like to see a couple of extra social sharing methods being added and be able to customize the points system more. I need to add that having more options doesn't always guarantee you get better results, because it's often better to stick to proven settings instead of trying to come up with something unique. Pricing could also be a little bit lower, but you pay for a high-quality tool and with the amount of viral leads you can collect, this quickly pays back your investment. It is very user friendly, support is very helpful, and the user-base and community is significant and active, which means that there is always useful help/suggestions on hand. Pros UpViral solves a unique Use-Case for my business. I needed more of a Reward Program implemented rather than a pure viral marketing campaign. I either bought or subscribed to a number of other products, but they all didn't quite solve my need. Although UpViral isn't exactly designed for my use-case, with a bit of creative thinking (and some personalised help from support), I was able to create a reward program campaign that fits my need almost exactly. The reason I could do this (and where the other platforms failed) is because of the flexibility and customisation built into UpViral. Cons My exact use-case wasn't quite in the realm of the UpViral platform. It took a bit of creative thinking and trial-and-error to get the platform to work the way I needed my Reward Program to function. It wasn't an "out of the box" solution. I needed to lean on UpViral support to help me achieve my goal. In many ways this is also testament to UpViral's strength and flexibility. Reason for choosing UpViral I could manipulate/manage the UpViral platform to almost exactly suit my need. The other platforms I tried just didn't have the same flexibility for my use-case. And on the whole it has grown my email list more than any other tool. If you are looking for something to exponentialize your efforts in reaching new people, there is nothing better. Pros The best thing about this is the ease of email list growth. The templates suggest pathways you can take people and the setup is clear. It does take time to 'think out' your campaign and how you can use it, and the set up, of course, is a commitment, but! Once it's set up, it just keeps going in a loop. Pretty amazing. New leads coming in all the time. Cons I am not a fan of the templates themselves. The marketing component is covered, but the aesthetics are dated. This seems like something that could be handled with the addition of a good graphic designer and a few more choices. There are too many platforms out there now (Kajabi, Clickfunnels, Kartra to name a few) doing similar things better for this to lag. I am also an avid Kajabi user and wish that Upviral integrated with them as well. Because I cannot use Kajabi as a source of autoresponder, I have to manually import leads constantly, which is not convenient. I am satisfied and happy in deciding to buy this software. Pros It is user friendly and the dashboard is straight forward. I was having issues with logging into the account and the widget was broken for over a month. I got locked out of the account even though they charged me for a whole year and after two people no one is able to help me resolve my issue. I'm trying to cancel the platform, but not even sure if I can because I'm locked out of my account even after doing multiple password resets. It's gotten to the point where they say my e-mail doesn't exist in their database. Just a mess. Pros It was helpful to get people to share your content, but it depends on the type of industry you are in. Probably doesn't work for B2B. Cons Bad customer service. Hard to get a hold of people. Facebook ad campaign + viral giveaway consisting of 2 dinners for two. The campaign lasted for 42 days. Results: We targeted a group of 25-44 living in the Nairobi area with an interest in food, restaurants, and eating out. We reached 205431 people, 6549 clicked on the ad, and were sent to the giveaway page on UpViral. 5462 opted-in (left their name and email) and started social and email sharing to collect points. The viral loop was started and, at the end of the campaign, we had 21903 visitors to the giveaway campaign generating 5231 leads. Of these leads, 1792 came directly from Facebook advertising, and 3439 leads came from the viral giveaway campaign. So the client received a 192% increase in leads over a plain Facebook ad campaign. I bought it when it first came out and where it is today is a massive evolution. Pros Has integrations with just about every autoresponder and CRM. Super easy to use and a great editor with split testing. contest rules are easy to set up and extra incentives are useful too. Cons I'd like the ability to have the fraud detection on but not blacklist people straight away. It would be nice to have a list of possible fraud that I could review and decide if I want to block them. Kind of like a grey list.
