Pros Ease of keeping all our our meetings, issues and goals in one place everyone can access. Cons It can be a little glitchy sometimes. For example, when running a meeting it doesn't always show everyone all the time in the meeting, sometimes you have to refresh a few times to get everyone listed. When putting things in order in the issues tab by priority during a meeting, it doesn't always show the same issue at the top for everyone at the meeting. Managing Director Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "If you want to implement EOS, you cant do it without ninety" November 25, 2024 3.0 Overall its been great, it is the best out there for managing your business with the EOS framework. Pros Its helped us to manage the EOS framework within our business. Without it I dont think we would be able to do it, genuinely. The weekly meetings are a breeze - it keeps us on track, guides us through the agenda and it acts as a central place for the leadership team to monitor the business. Cons It can be a bit glitchy at times, crashes from time to time and is a little clunky. Its missing some key features like being able to report on rocks and the per seat license fee means we only have our SLT team using it where it would be brilliant to have the entire business using it but with 50 members of staff it would be far too expensive. One of the biggest advantages we’ve experienced with is the structure it provides for rolling out EOS across the company. It gives us a clear, consistent framework and makes it easy to see what’s due and who is responsible for each item. The platform is simple to navigate, both online and through the app, which has made adoption smooth for the team. Overall, ninety has allowed us to spend more time managing the business and less time updating spreadsheets or tracking information manually. It’s been a meaningful improvement in how we stay organized and maintain traction. Cons While has been valuable overall, there are a couple of areas that present challenges. Like any new platform, there is a learning curve when entering and organizing data, especially for team members who are still getting comfortable with the system. The good news is that the help desk has been extremely responsive and willing to walk through any issues at any time, which has made the adjustment easier. Another limitation is the lack of integration with other CRM platforms. I truly do not know how EOS companies run without it. Everything EOS is able to be easily accessed by the entire team, from the VTO and accountability chart to the issues list and scorecard. It also negates the need for someone to spend the entire meeting just taking notes, because you can create issues and to-dos so easily and quickly. Ninety keeps everything organized and focused. It is a must-have for EOS companies. Pros We love using to keep us on track and keep communication open! The accountability aspect is great, so everyone can see what everyone else agreed to accomplish, and help each other out if needed. One of the most practical pros of Ninety is that we don't have to keep a running list of issues ourselves to bring to the next meeting and try to remember them all. We can all access the platform and add issues as we go. Cons was really hard to use and understand at first. Part of that was probably that I didn't receive much training/direction from my team, but also the concept was hard to grasp until I read "What the Heck is EOS." Then it all clicked. But I know that most of our employees have struggled to grasp it until we first explain the EOS concepts. We were using it before we were an EOS company, so it was difficult prior to joining EOS. When I need assistance the team is always really helpful and quick with responding. The results are typically exactly what I need and the follow up is always appreciated. Pros is a great platform and my team uses it every single day. We utilize this to track to-do's, quarterly projects, facilitate our team meetings, and run performance reviews. The program is really easy to use once you learn it and it's a great way to ensure my team is always on the same page. Cons Some of the buttons and functions are a little glitchy or touchy at times. Like you have to click EXACTLY on the specific pixel to get into the text box or select an option. If you miss that pixel, the site assumes you're not trying to click into that textbox/button and resets the form. If we can expand that click zone to register the area slightly around the exact pixels, that would be AMAZING! Also, if we can give users with the site admin permissions the ability to delete Quarterly Conversations and Annual Reviews. Or at least allow the user who created the reviews to delete them, that'd be great. I am the one in my company who creates all the reviews and if I have to edit or remove those, I have to reach out to the support team. These are just some development fixes that I am sure they could implement relatively easily and it would improve the overall experience. While not perfect, EOS+Ninety has pleasantly surprised me by actually improving visibility, focus, and communication across our teams. Pros It has genuinely helped keep my team focused on the most important things each quarter. We all still inevitability get sidetracked with other things that may or may not be urgent, but helps to remind everyone of what is a "rock" vs what is "sand", in terms of importance. Cons They've made some improvements over the last year and a half that we've used it, but it does still feel like a new platform. Overall it works great for its primary purpose, but there're a handful of small quirks you notice when using it daily. Things like the absence of a true dark mode or limited options for formatting things on the scorecard. I'm sure they'll get there, but these types of things are worth knowing about beforehand. It was just more functional, easier to use and more intuitive. Fast forward to me becoming an EOS Implementer, and I recommended all my clients use it, and they love it too. Also, every time I need help, the team is so responsive, and their chat function and library of help is great. Pros How well it has helped my teams run on EOS even better, even faster. The work is the work, nothing substitutes that. But having a place to put it all, access it easily and run the entire organization on it means better faster implementation of EOS. Cons That there wasn't an app for it, but now there is! Before I had to pin the website to my phone to update things...so thrilled that there is an app now. Great price, didn't reject churches from the non-profit discount (huge!), and easy to use once you learn the ins and outs. Pros checked off a lot of boxes I was looking for in a team collaboration app/software. I really appreciated the daily emails with my "To-Dos" and the ease of adding something else to my To-Dos when I'm in the middle of a conversation, so that I wouldn't forget about it. Also, as a church, they didn't gatekeep us from their non-profit discount like most other colab apps did. SO the price became very affordable for what we needed it for. All throughout the process, 90's Customer Service was great. Answered all my questions leading up purchase, good onboarding, and even when I ran into a bug, their support team was on it, communicated often, and resolved the issue. Cons My constructive criticism would be that it's not as polished-looking as other colab apps I looked at. It's all pretty much black, white, and grays. Adding color would help with organization and overall "feel". The other thing is minimal customization to the hub area, called My90. It allows you to add and subtract elements, but a few key elements, like my upcoming meetings, weren't an option to add. I was a little disappointed that custom meetings were another tier up from the base tier, so we weren't able to create those custom meetings, which would have been massively helpful, because of cost restraints on our end.
