After being out of bookkeeping for 13 years, coming back to bookkeeping with this system has been a breeze! This system is easy to learn, easy to use and easy to troubleshoot. Any question I have ever had is answered quickly and the training is phenomenal. Customer service is quick to correct the very few errors that have occurred and will contact me promptly when the problem is resolved. All of the representatives have a knack for making my "stupid questions" not feel so stupid! They are always so calm, respectful and very knowledgeable when I call. While familiarizing myself with the system I called the support line a lot! I felt very comfortable calling in with my questions because of their professional and friendly approach towards me. It seems that we are friends now! Using this product and having access to the support team makes me enjoy my job even more! Pros This product is so easy to use! It is so easy to learn. I love the student's Fee Sheets and AR component of this software. This has been most impactful in communicating with our parents about students' school fees. It is easy to upload new students and new course fees with the Powerschool merge feature. Then, the emailing of the Fee Sheets to parents is a key component to communicating with parents. The 'class change' feature is a game-changer! Knowing exactly what needs to be refunded or applied elsewhere is quickly determined and we are able to satisfy parents in paying fees appropriately. Cons I would like to see more reporting options. Or, maybe an option to develop our own reports with information. Some of the reports (who paid, who did not pay) is not in a very printer friendly format. TES is such a superb school program that has been generated to address all the unique scenarios that a school is confronted with. The support staff has been AMAZING, friendly, and completely helpful! Phone calls are answered and returned quickly with issues being resolved in no time at all. All this is so crucial in the fast paced school environment. Pros Very easy to use, and could print reports, sorting the data for many case scenarios. Cons Honestly, I can't think of anything we didn't love about the software. One suggestion for an additional feature would be for the capability to attach a student photo, that would display next to their name. It does everything!! Everything is right there to look up. All student payments are kept in the student control center. You can see anything from that. I love their product. It is very user friendly and whenever I have a problem, their customer service experts are very knowledgeable and are able to fix whatever issue I am dealing with. We are the only school in our district using this product and it has made registration run smoothly and efficiently. It is easy to transfer students between classes with the schedule change feature and issue a refund if one is available for that student. It has made my job a whole lot easier since I started using this product. I love it. Pros I love that the fees and accounting are all part of the same program and the balance sheet is always accurate and up to date as fees are being paid. I work at the District level and love this product. It is so easy to use and to read the reports. It is easy for me to help the Treasurers if they have a problem. If the problem is more than I can handle TES is more than happy to help with solving the problem in a timely manner. TES is always making advances to improve their product and to keep it up to date.
