Software engineer in test Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Four years of experience with Jira" January 9, 2023 5.0 Jira helps me and my entire team plan tasks, follow processes, and streamline work so that we always know who's working on what, how long they've been working on it, and what next task they'll have to work on, thanks to the task overview. At the same time, thanks to the set restrictions, we never overload the team more than is possible. Pros Jira has several advantages and nice features:- It will help the most in task scheduling. Our team was able to easily apply the kanban system to various projects and at the same time easily and clearly knew how to combine them for a better overview due to the representation of tasks.- I find using keyboard shortcuts a big advantage.- Linking with GitLab, TeamCity, NetSuite and Confluence (which we use) makes work much simpler and faster. Cons I found only three things to the disadvantage of Jira:- When you lose a session (and when you get it again), a comment in progress or a task, issue, etc. when being created. It is not possible to finish (the content is lost) and you have to start over again.- Maybe I would appreciate an occasional auto refresh (Kanban) board.- Sometimes it's a bit slow (but it's improved a lot in recent years) Review Source SJ Sabina J. Accountant Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Next level productivity and task management" March 18, 2023 5.0 Overall my experience is positive, it makes my life easier (saving time, higher productivity, clarity of my work and cooperation within my team). Pros It brought clarity into work of my team (each of us have many small tasks which are connected to one another) and increased our productivity. Now each of us knows who is responsible for which task, when the task is completed so that others can follow up with other tasks and in case of any problem, we can easily track it and solve. It is also very user friendly and amazing feature is the possibility of setting order due to priority. We have it connected to Confluence which went very smooth. Cons I dont find any serious cons. Sometimes its slow and when you loose internet connection, the text which you havent saved is lost and you have to start from the beginning. By creating a check list, I will simplify the work of my colleagues and they can find their way around the tasks more quickly. Pros It is easy to use. I using this by writing user stories for my colleague. It is very clear and applicable to all types of tasks. Cons Within the checklist, I would accept more modularity, such as e.g. addition of different colors, notifications about unfinished checklist, possibility of adding different graphic icons. Pros I liked the user-friendly environment and clarity. installation took a few days. Since I work with external colleagues (electrician, technician,...) it is sometimes difficult to find my way around the current situation of the project. This plugin solved this problem, because it is immediately visible what state the project is in and what the next steps are, which increases the speed and efficiency of our work. Cons Apart from the fact that sometimes the plugin loads more slowly and the fact that I would welcome a function where the system would warn about a project that has not been completed for a long time, i don't see any cons. The plugin save our time and increases productivity. The connection with Gitlab and Confluence went smoothly Cons After a short training, I found no shortcoming of this plugin. Pros This is the most used plugin in our Jira instance. Super easy to track problems on some issue and mark when they are done. The awesome feature is ordering, when you need to do some tidy on your checklist tasks. Cons I don't find any problem on this plugin. Everything works perfectly without any problem. Pros Plugin which improved my productivity, easy to use, makes it easy to monitor duties and tasks done. I appreciate the possibility to switch to the dark mode. Allows creating list of sub-tasks in issue, ordering and marking them as done. Super easy. Must recommend. Pros In our company we need to manage dozen of small task in every issue in Jira Cloud, this plugin provides us all the solution that we need. We use possibility to crease sub-tasks in checklist mode, order them using the priority and change the state of them when some task is done. Cons We didn't have any problem. Just it take some time to integrate this plugin into Jira cloud. Using it is without any issues. API support (REST API), which will increase security, can be automated.Ability to make individual projects publicly available to the internet, which means anonymous access. One can connect to Confluence, which we did. It is not hard to use, it is very user friendly product. Possibility to create screenshots and upload them through the Greenshot app. Cons What I missed was the ability to change the URL to a custom domain. We wanted to rename it for the convenience of the users, but it was not possible. At the same time, in the case of project labeling, we encounter limitations. I miss the feature of setting notifications, as some colleagues are bothered by frequent walking notifications because of all the little things. The connection with Confluence was without problems.
