It is easy to use, intuitive and provides an excellent graphical interface for managing MongoDB databases. I have been using it for a years now and it has saved me countless hours of time. Highly recommend Robo 3T if you are looking for an open-source GUI for MongoDB. Cons Limited functionality: While Robo 3T provides a more user-friendly interface for interacting with MongoDB, it may not have all of the features and capabilities of the MongoDB shell or other MongoDB management tools.Performance issues: Depending on the size of the MongoDB instance and the amount of data being queried, Robo 3T may experience performance issues, such as slow query execution or high memory usage. Being free and open-source, I wish I could thank the creators personally, because their free product is good and is so useful. Pros I really like how easy and simple Robo 3T makes working with MongoDB databases. It has a simple and intuitive GUI interface that allows me to browse documents in my datastore, plus run queries, edit documents etc. It is great for building up aggregation queries for MongoDB before you use them in code. Cons I can't think of any cons for Robo 3T, it is a free and open-source product that works really well. There is an upgrade for a paid version called Studio 3T that has more functionality and a richer set of features, though I have never needed that myself (at least so far). Would recommend to most any development team who is using Mongo in any facet of their product Pros Everything about Robo3T is battle tested and only the features that matter are in there. First of all, establishing the connection with the application is very easy. I have used it basically for MongoDB data display. Once you make a successful connection, you can open it anytime without any repetitive authentication. Moreover, only IP details and the Port number is required to make the connection. It gives you chance to view data in an organized way and in JSON format simultaneously with two tabs. Finding any value or field becomes very easy as we can do it using CTRL+F in the JSON tab. Editing the document is also feasible in Robo 3T. Cons Only part which I like the least is troubleshooting part. When we try to import any document and if document is not properly formatted, ROBO 3T doesn't give the clear view of the problem with the document. There should be suggestions coming down along with the errrors on how to solve it and where to look for it exactly. Review Source AS Antonio S. Backend developer Research Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Cómoda gestión de colecciones de MongoDB" December 10, 2022 4.0 La experiencia es bastante buena, le faltan algunas funcionalidades y quizá los errores a la hora de ejecutar algunas sentencias , podrían ser más descriptivos Pros Me encanta lo sencillo que es a la hora de ver cómo te conectas a la base de datos de mongo, puedes conectarte tanto en base local como remota.En el menú de la izquiera se pueden ver muy bien jerarquizadas las bases de datos y sus respectivas colecciones Cons A veces se ha tenido que complementar el uso de robo3t con compass debido a que no se podía exportar importar en json o csv, compass sí lo permitía, si pasan una colección en formato json, no se puede importar directamente como en compass ( o yo no he visto cómo) Review Source Danish M. It has a easy to use query builder and provides three different modes for viewing results i.e Tree , tabular and text mode. It allows connection to multiple databases at the same time.
