Klarna is the easiest to use, and has the best terms in my opinion. Pros I like that they are essentially a credit card with much better terms. As a person with no so perfect credit, being able to make purchases without a 25% + apr looming over it, is an incredible option. Cons Fluctuating initial deposit amounts on similar amounts funded. They will just keep repeating that it's computer generated. Pros Nothing it was overall stressful experience. Cons Worst app ever. They will punish you for an app that you trying to purchase from, having a glitch, then they put your purchase power down and make you pay more upfront, instead of 4 equal payments. Even though, you have never had issues making payments, and shop with them a lot, they don't care. They don't value their customers or their satisfaction at all. Customer service is useless, sorry but they are, always overseas representatives, who can do absolutely nothing to help you with your issues. Asked to speak to a manager over a month ago, and still have not heard back. Tried purchasing from Walmart, Walmart has a your message saying the time of delivery alot was taken, so it forced me to go back and checkout again. They charged my card twice, I got my money back though from Walmart, Walmart is great, but Klarna now is punishing me, put my purchase power down and makes me pay almost 3/4 of the amount of purchase upfront. Kind of defeats the purpose of the Klarna app doesn't it. So Walmart was having a glitch on their app, and Klarna is punishing me for it. Its been super helpful for breaking up the cost of clothes or electronics into smaller chunks that fit my budget better. The app is really easy to navigate and I like that it sends me reminders before a payment is due so I dont accidentally miss one. It definitely makes me feel more in control of my spending as long as I dont overdo it with too many orders at once. Pros The best thing about klarna is the pay in 4 option because it makes bigger purchases feel way more manageable without having to pay interest like a credit card. I also really like the browser extension and the app interface because it lets you create a one time ghost card to shop basically anywhere even if the store doesnt officially partner with them. It makes the whole shopping experience feel a lot more modern. Cons The customer support can be a bit of a headache if you have to return an item and the merchant is taking their time. It's over for me, and be careful in the future with companies like Klarna. Pros I have used Klarna several times because I found their service useful. I have never had any problems until now except... Cons Except now, this is where we see the real service when problems arise. I understand that Klarna is not Agoda, the company I dealt with, BUT if there was fraud, or whatever the problem, Klarna must protect me and make sure to give me service. I get to spread a costly item over 3 months. And I am able to get a luxury item because of Klarna knowing I will get it paid for 3 months only. Just making sure I am not spending on the next 2 months. So then I get to splurge myself 4 times a year. Girl math. Ha ha Pros The 3 installment or pay in 30 days option interest free is a great way to get that item you wanted that is a bit over your monthly spending budget. Paying over 3 months is helpful. Cons I think some of the shops are still not using Klarna but it’s getting there. As Klarna is becoming so popular, I wouldn’t be surprised if all of the shops will opt to use their payment platform.
