I wouldn't recommend this platform. I'd rather pay a little more for a more robust platform that can handle multiple properties and bank accts as well as have better escalations with issues not on my end. Its mainly been frustrating using this platform. After the 1st year (since i already paid) I'm using a different platform. The formatting of the lease signatures was also a little off and this should be fixed to make the leases look more professional.

Pros

Customer service responsiveness was good. The navigation of the website is user friendly and not complicated to get around the pages.

Cons

The platform doesn't allow you to use different bank accounts for different rental units. They require you to open a new account and pay again which is frustrating when one has multiple properties and is managing on behalf of owners. I also experienced issues with Plaid platform this company uses to link your bank acct. Ezlandlord almost returned funds back to tenant bc of a bank acct link issue that was not on my end.

My overall experience has been great! This program is very easy to navigate and allows me to properly walk tenants through the lease signing process very easily

Pros

I like that they provide alerts when leases are expiring and also provides a way to go back to older forms I have sent out

Cons

I have been unable to use the payment processing feature.

I didn't like one thing except for the demo you have, that make the website function properly. Ha! That didn't work!

Pros

EZ Landlord has all the information you need - for your state or district. It is great to have everything in one place and I appreciate the reminders when a lease is about to end. I manage my parents property and I am so thankful for EZlandlord forms. I love the electronic signing! And the cost is affrodable.

Cons

I wish I could add more than just two tenants to the lease contract.

Needing to manually track and update and deliver documents can be a challenge and time consuming. ezLandlordForms solved those problems.

Pros

The pre-packaged forms and documents and the easy way to setup automated lease delivery via email make this product a win!

The most important business that I have solved with ezLandlordForms is for the Lease Contracts. Being able to have such a complete and law abided form to do my Lease Contracts is a blessing. Do not have to worry about any type of legal action from renters due that the Lease Contracts covers all areas required by law, giving me the peace of mind needed to continue developing my business.

The software has all the forms required by law to complete an effective and easy-to-understand Lease Contract.

Cons

I have no cons for this software regarding the use that I have given to complete my Lease Contract tasks. It fulfills all of my business needs regarding the use that I give it most; Lease Contracts.

Easy to use, setup, and manage, particularly with renewals and extensions, my data is in there and ready to go.

Pros

I like that since I have properties in 3 states, the program adapts and keeps me compliant in each state, taking into account all legal differences in real estate and leasing.

Cons

Customization of lease terms is cumbersome, not impossible, just cumbersome.

Very happy and have been using for a few years now. I own a few small rental properties and EZ Landlord Forms has made it very easy for me to get my leases done in a quick and simple process. Very happy.

Very user-friendly and easy interface. So many disclosures and forms are included that I normally would have had no idea to include.

Sometimes the e-consent doesn't seem to work first try.

Overall, it’s a great value and provides me with confidence as I work to effectively and efficiently manage my property.

Pros

I have had an account for over ten years, and even though I’m a semi-annual user, all my documents are there and maintained from day one. I appreciate the forms being state specific and incorporating any laws from my area.

The documents can be a bit confusing to create and update as a result of my not being a frequent user of the site.

Easy to use and according to my lawyer pretty ironclad when I needed it so I was pleased

Pros

These forms make life easy for people renting their homes were not professional. I have rented a couple of houses that I own and have had no problem with the legality of the lease. In fact, I had a problem where a person misrepresented themselves including a false drivers license. When I realized who they were and verified it I took the lease to an attorney who said it was ironclad and he had her evicted very quickly. He said there wasn’t much more of the lease could have encompassed

Cons

You have to be aware of what “other“ items you would like to add to the legal lease of the lease. My first couple of leases were vague but eventually I learned that I had to put in things like cleaning the carpet or taking the trash out and I realized quickly where those lines were to add that verbiage on the landlord forms

Good comprehensive document build. Allows the ability to pick and chose what is needed.

Pros

Has kept the pertinent details from the previous lease documents. Provides legal updates as needed for a given state, i.e. California. Appreciated the ability to adjust certain terms on lease.

Cons

The forms do not always have flexibility for property specifics. Most are covered, but adding from one year to the next updated version sometimes those do not work. It has to do with being moved around within the user interface.

ezlandlord is user friendly. I have been using this program for 11+years. I only wish it was an all in one program.

I really wish they had advertising for properties and a bookkeeping option.

Great experience if there is a problem with a tenant there are forms that address it.

Pros

Easy to use, very informative and I like the legal forms and information!

Cons

It’s would be nice to be able for program to send rejection letters.

I used it for many years and was happy with my decision

Pros

When I took over as trustee of family trust that owns several rentals I needed something that was simple and would be compliant with state law. Ezlandlord was just what I needed

Cons

Some of the documents have to be redone and so sometimes confusing on what documents are the latest

Pros

Ability to replicate same agreement for many, plus retain records of all agreements and contact information. Plus knowing the form are legally vetted for Michigan

Cons

Many attachments can get confusing. Almost too many options

Great.

Pros

There are many features, drafted agreements that are simple to use and which accommodate local city compliance’s as well. Plus we can easily share to the prospective tenant and also track latest status of the document helps a lot.

Cons

I can’t think of one yet but probably say Area of improvement could be having more structured form for Banking Information to which the tenant needs to remit money like field for Selecting Bank Name, Account Number, email or phone that’s registered to accept payment from facility like Zelle. Something like that.

uesed to pleasant. Not anymore. Your reps... are EXCELLENT. To them, Keep up the FANTASTIC WORK!!! To the strategic and business development. .... Too many mis-steps. Keep it the way it was with frequent and better price promotions. You will attract a lot more business.

Pros

Some features introduced but hard to find. GO BACK to the old stuff.

Cons

REVERT back from the SUBSCRIPTION Model. You bet, it is not helping earn more revenues or a good name for the company
