Do not waste your time or money. I was genuinely excited about Mobilo at first. The idea is great — a simple NFC/RF tap that shares your contact info without requiring an app. I even had no issue paying the annual fee. I ordered multiple products (card, key fob, phone button) thinking this was going to be a game-changer. Unfortunately, once I actually set it up and used it, I realized it’s not practical for real-world use. Here’s the issue: Mobilo converts every link into a redirect/tracking link. The idea is that you can update links dynamically later — which sounds smart in theory. But in practice, it creates a terrible user experience. When someone downloads your contact card, instead of seeing clean, recognizable links (like facebook-com/yourcompany), they see long, messy Mobilo redirect URLs filled with tracking parameters. To a customer, this looks suspicious. Most people are trained not to click strange redirect links — and frankly, I don’t blame them. It immediately reduces trust. On top of that, the contact card becomes cluttered and hard to read. Each link takes up multiple lines, making your contact card look unprofessional and overly complicated. Even worse, these links include tracking. As the card owner, you can see user interaction data, including location. That might sound useful, but from a customer perspective, it raises privacy concerns — and that’s not something I want associated with my brand. I reached out to Mobilo support to see if this could be disabled. Their response was that clean, direct links are only available on a higher-tier “Teams” plan — meaning you’re stuck with the messy redirect links unless you upgrade. That’s a dealbreaker. Bottom line: great concept, poor execution. If you care about clean presentation, trust, and user experience — this isn’t it. I had high hopes, but this one misses the mark.

Mobilo doesn't require an app to install on customer's phones. I liked the idea of the RF fob & button to stick on the back of my phone so it was always handy.

I was enthusiastic about Mobilo being a long-term solution but at this point they're price gauging assuming that once a company has invested in their product, that company is 'locked in'. The salesperson didn't even bother looking at what our prior contract was. I just got an invoice with a total amount. No explanation of the renewal date or change in pricing. I had to take screen shots of last years invoice and explain to him what he was giving me as a price increase when he chalked it up to taxes!

Pros

Easy to deploy to the team - this was our first transition into NFT cards. Employees were really impressed by them and they're extremely convenient for exchanging contact info at tradeshows.

Cons

The price increase of 34% on licenses is really terrible. There's no change in the capabilities of the card or data that would merit that increase. We essentially need to consider competitors at this point which means repurchasing cards. I was told if I purchase for 2 years up front, then we can get an additional 20 cards. Pretty silly if we've already given these cards to all our employees. We use Salesforce so I was told that we would be able to have compatibility between the cards and updating contact info into Salesforce after we launched the CRM and it's really not streamlined that way. There's no one to call either. You end up having to email Mobilo for any assistance and emails are generally not answered until the following day.

Pros

Mobilo was very easy to set up and use. I had a few hiccups but got them worked out with customer service.

Cons

It doesn't offer many features beyond scanning a digital business card. I wish it had more analytical capabilities and integrations with CRMs.
