Pros Alphaletz has been a game changer for me and better yet, my accountant loves my new end of year spreadsheet. It has been great to get a very personal customer service which you don't get with the large companies. Pros I really like the visual layout of Alphaletz and find it easy to see all the relevant data on the app and online. Cons We manage student tenancies where the rent schedule is not a straightforward monthly payment on the same day. Most pay monthly for the first 3 months and then termly for the rest of the contract. Payment dates and amounts therefore vary. We really need to be able to set this up accurately on the system to be able to monitor rent payments closely. Reason for choosing Alphaletz Visually pleasing and easy to use. Reasonably priced. I know that other users have made suggestions and knew features and functions are added often. I've been absolutely delighted with it and can't recommend it highly enough. Pros In the short time I've been using the software it's already proved well worth the money. Not only is it really easy to set up and use, but there are lots of opportunities to watch live webinars and I've twice asked questions via email and got an immediate reply from the people who built it. I even just got sent a bespoke video in answer to a question. Cons Although there is a feature to link your properties to your bank account so payments can be reconciled, my bank (Handelsbanken) does not support this feature. Absolutely no fault of Alphaletz, but rather my old fashioned bank. Most banks can be linked. I liked his presentation style, efficient and not pushed. I think I told him I had research another company. But I have attended several training webinars during last 12 months. I am really impressed by the way this company operate providing a 1st class service which is 100% fit for my purposes both now and future property plans.they accept all challenges to improve their system. They are proactive.what’s not to like? And it’s is so cost effective in the real world of property. What they do is perfect for a landlord to record all the info they require in 1 place. I have not looked at how much info their site has on ‘Free content for Landlords’ Pros It is constantly being improved. The management listen to their client base. The bigger the growing client base the better the Alphaletz System will become. I am surprised landlords go elsewhere. Cons I am old school and have researched this and other systems. After a year I have changed my thinking and like what I see at Alphaletz. Owner Farming Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Enabled me to take back control from expensive managing agents" July 13, 2021 5.0 Setting up the system was pretty easy as I'm comfortable with using technology. Prior to semi-retiring, I ran a mid-sized IT services company in London, so I didn't need any help from Alphaletz to get my rentals in to their system. Pros Alphaletz is intuitive, easy to use and provides all the information I need to manage my 3 rental properties myself. Whilst the software is relatively new to market, the company seem to take onboard feedback from their clients and build that feedback into their roadmap. There have been numerous updates and feature enhancements that are released on a regular basis since I started to use the app. The app is fast and allows me to have information on my rentals at my fingertips. The key thing for me, is that my yields were decreasing and my managing agent added little to no value yet took a big chuck of my monthly rentals and when things did go wrong, the repair bills seemed overly expensive. Using Alphaletz has enabled me to cut out the managing agent and thereby improve my monthly yields, without overly impacting on my valuable time. Cons There isn't anything in particular that I dislike about the Alphaletz software. One thing I would like to see as a possible future enhancement would be to build a pool or nationwide resources and trusted tradespeople that Alphaletz customers could tap in to (plumbers, electricians, gas safety certification, EPC's, landlord insurance, cleaning, etc.) to further reduce the time I need to spend looking after my rentals. The ease of use and simple interface attracted me to this application along with it being designed for property investors. It's integration with your bank accounts is excellent and tracking financial transactions is simple. Sorting and searching options should make finding what you're looking for a breeze too.I will very likely recommend this programme in the future but I've only been using it for a short time. The only issue I can't comment on is how it works with multiple users as I'm the only user in my company. Pros Read my main review. Any issues i have had ( which have been minimal ) have then been rapidly dealt with great communication from Richard on the action plan. Nothing ever seeming too much trouble. Pros information at the touch of a button, that emails automatically go out to the tenants to remind them that the rent is due, and then the rent is late if not received, that the accounts are seamless and can easily be reconciled to the bank account, giving great management information to make informed decisions. These are the just a few of the many benefits of Alphaletz Cons When glitches have happened - these have been personally rectified by Richard who is keen to understand any issues and its clearly evident he wants an exceptional software that is simple to use. AlphaLetz understand their clients and the market they're in. I moved over to the product as soon as I saw it advertised, overall, it will mean less paper and more timely reminders and helpful reports to keep us compliant and ahead of the game. Pros The product is cloud based, has a sweet app and is secure. I can use this product to manage both our Residential and Commerical lettings. I am really impressed with the cleanness and smoothness of the screen and input, there is no clunkiness at all. The more I use the product the more useful features I find and once all the historical data is entered there will be no forgetting the deadlines. Cons There isn't much I don't like, and customer support have been so helpful and taken on board a few of my suggestions for improvements. One of the things, especially for entering all the historic data is the date entry box. It would be nice to either pick the data from the box or enter in manually. I suppose it depends how fast people are typing and data entry. For me it's quicker to do a manual entry. Reason for choosing Alphaletz I tried Lendlord which proved to be all about selling me mortgages and I was not convinced on the security of the product and whether in the future there would be a big price tag added to my data once it's in there. So, I removed all my data a few weeks ago. AlphaLetz came just at the right time. It's not gimmicky, is upfront, clean, and easy on the eye, ticks all my boxes. I have the Excel skills to do it and I'd prefer to not spend the time building Excel spreadsheets when there's an application that I can use.
