Cons However, it was often difficult to network and have some more specific conversations with interesting people, as they had their own presentations, and even though there were questions, they were still quite general, and hence, the answers were too. That made some webinars really boring for someone who participated in similar webinars. Maybe incentivizing speakers to have more interaction with the audience would help? Maybe just more passionate speakers would also help? We want to continue liaising so that we can target and engage students we want at IOM. The team at Highered have been highly responsive and adaptive to our needs, which is amazing. Their features and functions as well as communications of these are really good. Something that we can really learn from. I think live events too and the moderator are so professional. We hope more UN organizations that target specific groups, like us, try using Highered. The reports and training sessions they provide are always so comprehensive and informative. Pros It has so many new and innovative technical features that makes it easy for us as Recruiters and candidates. The Highered team are also great. They are really supportive and always try their best to adapt to IOM's needs. Cons We are still trying to capture nationalities perfectly, referring to the nationalities of students who participated in the fair so that we can really source and target the group we would like. But we can see a solution is coming very soon :) Reason for choosing Highered The willingness to innovate and adapt to our needs. We have very unique needs that is sometimes difficult to cater to, but Highered were very flexible and supportive. We cannot thank them enough. We are so glad to have them in our corner. Pros \- Easy to use - Friendly and effective customer service - Open to new ideas and new feature suggestions - Chat and video options - Linked to the student's profile on which they can upload resumés, and a lot of information - New features coming! Cons Not much! We have had security issues with some of our partners not being able to connect with their company's equipment, but that's not Highered's doing. We will deal with those partners separately in the future to warn them to use their own equipment. About everything else that is not perfect about the platform, the Highered Talentpanel team is open to suggestions and will look into implementing them for future events! Stakeholders are getting weary of using multiple platforms for virtual events so its very useful to have a 'straightforward' package. Visually appealing and a good alternative to face to face events. Sensibly priced compared to other providers Cons A useful feature to add would be for it to be compulsory for students/alumni to have to add their education major - many just click 'other' which means the engagement data is not complete to feedback to employers/course directors. What I like most is that it's a user friendly interface, extensive job listings, educational resources, and career services. Cons Although Highered provides useful filters for job search, there is room for improvement. For instance, the platform can benefecit from more advanced search options such as the following: 1) Choice between remote, hybrid, or onsite 2) Experience level 3) Easier navigation when filtering (for instance, if I am filtering certain countries, the page refreshes making the scroll bar go to the start of the page, which interrupts the search process as I will have to scroll back down and scroll again through the countires to choose my preference) 4) The option to search by area/region 5) The option to exclude (for instance, I want to search in Europe but I want to exclude 2 countries) Review Source EB Emma B.
