Pros Since 2017, I've been building custom solutions for my clients and October has matured nicely. October provides an intuitive development experience and under the hood, it's a thing a beauty.I've yet to encounter a project that couldn't be built with October and it's become part of my daily workflow. Let me give the example: when I need to create Point Of Sales Backend UI, I have 2 number fields and need to updating the other field based on these fields. Fast and flexible. Cons The October CMS is loosing compared to others CMSs on "Headless" approach.Build a Requests and auto documentation is the main key for us. Didn't yet find a thing I needed and wasn't able to implement or find a plugin for. Pros Programmer friendliness - Ease of translating the mental model to the software product. Backend gives you already most of the things you need to manage everything, especially the data model. Cons Update process can sometimes break the database. I cannot get a grip of how to safely update everything without fear of losing old data. Maybe because my product is old and has gone through many CMS major versions upgrades.
