### "It really enables us with BYOD in mobile devices!"

November 17, 2022

5.0

So coming to my personal usage, I am a user and not an administrator for this product implementation at my company, so I come under the target audeince who actually consumes this service. My company allows me to use my corporate email ID in my handheld devices only when I register my device as trusted from company portal (name which is displayed in store listing). I have pleasant experience so far and no cons found.

Pros

I just love the way it integrates with the native features of Windows operating system. And honestly it is one of the best suited Identity management tool for enterprices. One of the most enhanced privacy controls can be achieved by this Intune Portal, and main point is that stays continuosly patched with latest updates from Microsoft. Not just their leadership or sales, but also support team is amazing for this platform.

Cons

No cons as of now, I love their service, but as a user I feel little concerned about my data sharing capacity when it is downloaded in the mobile devices. It would be very helpful if admin could share more details on what is being monitored when it is installed.

### "Overall great management tool"

March 30, 2023

4.0

Pros

Easy to switch from on prem to a cloud based management. Allowing endpoint control and configuration and monitoring. Everything from controlled software installs to update and user management.

Cons

There are so many features and uses its easy to get lost in the possibilities. Then trying to find someone who is familiar with the exact parts you want and want to make work together can be tricky.

### "Powerful but incomplete endpoina manager solution"

April 15, 2022

3.0

MEM lets you manage all the devices in the Company. It is usefully to deploy SW and configurations to all platform. The console is not so user friendly and sometimes shows duplicated configurations because of the migrations to new features made by Microsoft: in this case it is not always simple to understand which kind of configurations should be used and when. The console menus are continuously changing and this makes confusion to the customer. The synchronization of the devices is not realtime, even if you click on "Sync" button. Microsoft support is very poor.

Pros

The solutions can manage all the OSes with full sets of features related to device configurations and security features.

Cons

The console is not user friendly and changes too much frequently.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Intune

Because it was integrated in some other Microsoft Bundles.

### "Intune the generalized all in one MDM solution"

August 6, 2024

4.0

I've deployed Android Tablets for Warehouse management purposes, and iphones/ipads to Windows computers with minimal frustration.

Pros

I like the fact it's not operating system/device specific. You can manage Windows/Apple/Android/Chromebooks. Desktops/Laptops/Tablets.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve, and enrollment is different depending on which platform you're trying to manage. Tracking license use is not simple.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Intune

It's already integrated within our O365 environment, so it takes the headache out of any type of integration needed first. plus it's just an addon to the existing invoice vs a completely separate one.

You can set policies to ensure that devices are compliant with your organization's security standards, and you can remotely wipe or lock devices if necessary.Application management: Intune allows you to manage the deployment and use of mobile applications in your organization. You can distribute apps to users, set policies to control app access, and track app usage.

### "Helps keep users connected"

March 28, 2024

5.0

We transitioned from a VMWare product to Intune for company phones, mainly iPhones with some iPads included.

Pros

Intone allows users to have a more seamless experience with their mobile devices. The Microsoft applications on the mobile devices are more aligned with the applications users use on their laptops. The OneDrive access on Apple devices is smoother and easier to use with Intune versus some other MDMs.

Cons

The re-enrollment process was a bit clunky and the internal app deployment was a little more clunky than with other products.

Pros

This product gives you full control over whatever functionality you need in terms of control and management of your company assets, you can easily customize every aspect with a few clicks.

Cons

Sometimes creating new configurations requires lots of testing which makes it a little time-consuming but then you're ready to make it auto-pilot.

### "Amazing device management solution."

April 8, 2026

5.0

Overall, I love this tool. I have a ton of experience using it and have had nothing but positive things come of it. Proud to have the knowledge and expertise of this tool.

Pros

Where to even start. Microsoft Intune has been one of the best device management solutions I have ever used. With the power of Microsoft's tools at its back, there is little you can't do. While it isn't the easiest to use right off the bad, there is an abundance of resources available to easily accomplish any goals. The vastness of capabilities include devices management, group policies, updates, patches, mobile device management, system restrictions, automations, and even automatic deployments make it beyond powerful.

Cons

It is a beast! If you do not have experience or knowledge of the tools, navigating and configuring can be challenging. Microsoft offers training and certifications to help.

### "A Comprehensive and Powerful Cloud Solution for Enterprise Device and Security Management"

July 26, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Microsoft Intune has been highly positive. It is an enterprise-grade solution that provides complete control over organization endpoints, ensuring that security compliance and remote device management are handled flawlessly. Despite the initial complexity and slow policy sync times, it remains an indispensable asset for modern corporate IT infrastructure.

Pros

Microsoft Intune offers exceptional cloud-based mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). The seamless integration with Microsoft Entra ID and the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem makes user provisioning and security compliance enforcement incredibly efficient. I highly appreciate its robust patch management capabilities, which allow us to push critical security updates and manage corporate policies across Windows, Android, and iOS devices from a single unified console.

Cons

The user interface of the Microsoft Intune admin center can be overwhelming for beginners, as some configurations and policy conflicts require a steep learning curve to resolve. Additionally, the synchronization and deployment of new policies or applications to end-user devices can sometimes take longer than expected, making real-time troubleshooting a bit sluggish.

### "Easy but fully featured mobile management."

August 3, 2025

5.0

It has saved us effort and time, offering excellent value by making device and security management a lot easier for our business.

Pros

Microsoft Intune simplifies user and device management so much, particularly with cloud-based deployment. Patch management is a quiet behind-the-scenes activity that assures me systems are current without requiring minute-by-minute vigilance. The feature set contains everything except the items our employees don't require, and user administration is a snap.

Cons

Customer support is slow during peak times, and some of the more expensive features took me a while to adjust to.

### "I get it now"

March 18, 2025

4.0

When I first learned to use Intune there was a decent learning curve but once I understood how to work it best for me> I really didn't like the mixed ability to manage inventory because one way required elevated privileges and one way didn't and that caused issues with removing devices

Pros

its expansiveness and levels of possible organization and tracking

Cons

when it comes to inventory tracking and management I found more than one way to track them and that caused confusion or tracking inventory numbers to to be off

### "Intune is the future for Windows MDM solutions"

December 13, 2024

4.0

Positive! After an initial learning curve in getting all of our devices registered and enrolled as hybrid-joined, we have now embarked on a project to move all of our old group policies across, and begin leveraging the modern management features such as purely Entra-joined devices.

Pros

Intune has enabled us to introduce modern management for our fleet of Dell laptops and PCs, along with Android phones. As it was part of our license agreement with Microsoft, it seemed silly not to use it!

Cons

The rapid development pace is both a pro and a con. New features are enabled monthly, but sometimes the constant change can be difficult to keep up with.

### "Microsoft Intune for seamless device deployment and management"

May 22, 2024

5.0

Our overall experience with Microsoft Intune is extremely positive. We have been a user for four years and have no plans to even consider any other option for deployment and management of our Windows devices. I love that Intune is included in our educational licensing and is not another separate subscription that I have to keep track of.

Pros

When we realized that we needed a powerful and efficient way to deploy and manage devices amid the Covid crisis with all of our faculty and staff working from home, Intune was the clear winner! We looked at a few other MdM options but they fell short on either price or functionality or both. I love that you can manage everything through the Microsoft Admin portal and deploying devices through Autopilot is a great time saving feature that allows us to put a lot of the mundane tasks back on the user without fear that something will go wrong configuration or security wise. The user also knows they are getting a brand new device because it ships directly to them and they run through the OOBE.

Cons

We decided to use the Fastrack option for initial deployment of Intune. I did not have the best experience with the Fastrack vendor because of the latency with communication. I can't rate whether or not the Fastrack option would have helped us with the deployment because I went ahead and jumped in on my own.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Intune

We have a Meraki network so it was a no brainer for us to demo Meraki System Manager.

Switched from

[FileWave](https://www.capterra.com/p/182010/FileWave-Endpoint-Management/)

We originally deployed filewave. The process was not exactly straightforward and the end result left us with a management interface that was not agile enough for us in the new remote work environment we found ourselves in. The support resources for filewave were also a limiting factor after the initial deployment was complete.

### "An easy, fast and effective way to manage your devices"

May 30, 2023

4.0

If you have a Windows environment and want a cloud-based device management solution that is fast and effective than Intune is the one to consider. Creating apps is fast and easy, deploying them is even easier. Device configuration policies are easy to configure and intuitive. Since we moved our devices to Intune, they have shown the highest level of compliance with our policies and are up to date with the latest patches and applications.

Pros

As opposed to legacy solutions such as SCCM, the only resource required for managing corporate devices is the internet, regardless of the physical location of our Staff. This also made it easier for us to keep those devices up to date with the latest policies, updates and apps.

Cons

While the solution is great for managing devices, Intune still needs some work in terms of reporting. The amount of reports and the information that can be retreived from them continues to be very limited. For reports, we are forced to still use SCCM. Other than that, we have switched almost everything else to Intune and we are very happy with the results.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Intune

Since all our devices belong to the Windows environment it made sense for us to stick to native solutions provided by Microsoft.

### "Say Goodbye to Chaos: Streamline Your Device Management with Intune"

February 13, 2023

4.0

Microsoft Intune is a versatile mobile device management solution that offers numerous advantages for individuals and organizations alike. With its centralized device management, it provides control and ease of use for those on the move, while also addressing security and compliance requirements.

Pros

As a senior level professional, I aim to simplify deployments and management for both my team and Help Desk administrators. Microsoft Intune provides a centralized platform for IT administrators to manage devices, applications, and data, enabling more efficient monitoring and protection of all organizational devices.

Cons

The limited customization options for the portal or interface to align with our established environment can be a concern for you. Our environment has a consistent appearance, making it easier for users to identify legitimate resources and avoid scams.

### "Best Microsoft tool to manage all your devices in a single place"

April 10, 2023

4.0

We use Intune's Autopilot to seamlessly deploy new computers to our users all over the world with very little user or IT involvement, which is a great change for us because now our IT department has more free time to focus on other more important projects.

Pros

1\. Easy to deploy new devices in our organization with Intune's Autopilot2. Self-service support with the Customer Portal app for both macOS and windows3. Easy application deployment for macOS and Windows4. Security Baselines and configuration policy (CSP) deployment for Windows, and configuration profiles for macOS.

Cons

macOS support for app deployment used to be a pain, but it seems to be working ok now, looks like MS finally fixed it, however they have yet to support .dmg app deployment, only .pkg is supported at the moment.

Reason for choosing Microsoft Intune

We were already paying for it with our Microsoft E3 licensing.
