Bitlog WMS Reviews
Pros
Orderpicking is easy, good information on your different products can easily be shown. Picturefunction available in order to secure correct products.
We, as a company, also liked the user friendly UI and many features with the focus on simplifying the inbound as well as the picking and packing process.
Looking back at the past 9 months i have to say that working with Bitlog, both the people and the system, itself, has been very good.
We are very happy with the software as it increases efficiancy significantly and its easy to use.
Cons
And after a while we discovered that we need to pay more money to fix the different problems that occur. Not a customer-friendly management of the issues.
Many different options in the system, but something hard to understand all possibilities.
When it works it works fine, but we often get errors between Bitlog and our buisness sytem Visma net.
Development is expensive, and its unclear how much fixes will cost as it goes on an hourly rate.
"SuperUser review"
Pros: It has helped us optimizing our time spent on order management at the warehouse, warehouse staff no longer need to sort orders and can instead focus on doing what they do best - shipping.
Cons: Only available for iOS. iPads are not really made for larger warehouses where hopping from access points is unavoidable, which can make connectivity a problem.
"Bitlog WMS "
Overall: Looking back at the past 9 months i have to say that working with Bitlog, both the people and the system, itself, has been very good. Ofcourse there has been discussions that perhaps could have been avoided but overall it's been great and i hope it will continue this way going forward.
Pros: The integration was, considering other wms softwares, very easy and although we customized a few things the system was up and running from day one. We, as a company, also liked the user friendly UI and many features with the focus on simplifying the inbound as well as the picking and packing process. Another great thing about Bitlog wms is it's core functionalities which every customer can use, in other words, what company 1 develops can in many cases be used by company 2 if wanted.
Cons: If i'm going to be negative i think i have to mention features such as cross dock, the functionality is there but it doesn't support the way we work with cross dock orders and i would actually like to say that it can be built better. Due to this we have disabled this feature and waiting for it to be adjusted in coming versions during the coming 6-12 months.
"4 year review."
Overall: Fast picking process. Seemingly economical choice. After a while we feel that this program is ok, but maintaining high level takes up loads of time and no improvements reached. And after a while we discovered that we need to pay more money to fix the different problems that occur. Not a customer-friendly management of the issues.
Pros: Orderpicking is easy, good information on your different products can easily be shown. Picturefunction available in order to secure correct products.
Cons: In order to fix bugs in system, you need to spend more money every year to resolve problems. In some cases, they can be resolved, but the waiting time is too long. One month to describe problem for the support team to understand the situation (they could visit the site to understand earlier) and another month to understand that the problem is currently at development team. After this you need to wait even more.
"Review Bitlog"
Overall: We heavily upped our orders-per-hour, can educate more staff quick and simple. Without this software we would not be able to manage our delivery promise to our customers.
Pros: The ease of use and support with iOS devices. Easy to get new staff to learn the software.
Cons: I think the "backend" is far from the same "ease of use" experience as the client. There are features that are not labeled as critical which could be fatal to use (for example full sync/initial sync) which we will get debited to use - this feedback is not displayed in the backend.
"CS & IS Manager"
Pros: Automatic transport booking, automatic creation of proforma invoice, printing of labels, easy to work in
Cons: Many different options in the system, but something hard to understand all possibilities.
