The platform has improved significantly in recent years, especially as both WMS and ERP systems have increasingly moved to the cloud. The integration between systems works seamlessly, and both the initial implementation project and subsequent updates have gone very smoothly. Another major advantage is the ease of use, making it simple for new warehouse staff to learn the system and get up to speed quickly. Pros Its user-friendliness and simplicity. The system is robust and reliable, while still being easy to navigate and work with on a daily basis. I also appreciate the high level of control and transparency it provides over transactions and inventory balances, making it easy to track movements and understand what has happened in the system. Cons I miss some tools and features that would be useful in the daily operation. For example, it would be valuable to let warehouse staff clock in and out of specific functions or tasks, making it possible to measure time spent on different activities and turn this data into useful operational KPIs. Since the system cannot be fully customized, there are also situations where you have to wait for product improvements or adapt your processes to fit the system rather than the other way around. We transitioned from a paper-and-pen based operation to Bitlog WMS, and the difference has been like night and day. Inventory counts that previously took 6 to 8 hours with a full team of six people can now be completed in 3 to 4 hours with a team of only 3 to 4 people. Bitlog WMS has not only provided benefits for me as a Warehouse Manager through improved reporting and performance tracking, but it has also empowered my team. They are now more independent and more actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. Pros Bitlog WMS features a user-friendly interface that facilitated a smooth and rapid implementation process, as well as efficient training of new staff. We rarely encounter significant network-related issues or other operational disruptions. When problems have arisen, the customer support team has been responsive and supportive and, in most cases, has helped us resolve the issues quickly, sometimes even immediately. Bitlog WMS has worked wonders in improving both accuracy and efficiency during inventory counts, whether for cycle counts or annual stocktakes. Cons We have experienced issues with replenishment tasks and the "Search Available Locations" function due to the configuration of our picking locations during the initial implementation. Addressing this retrospectively will require some effort and adjustments on our part. One area where we see room for improvement in Bitlog WMS, both in the mobile app and the customer portal, is the availability of some basic usability features. For example, the ability to select multiple options simultaneously, manually choose which orders to include in a batch-picking operation from the order list, and greater flexibility regarding the confirmation banner. The confirmation banner is mandatory and covers important buttons in the app, which can slow down the workflow when processing orders. Our team members really appreciate the simplicity of the design in the user interface, and our daily tasks such as picking and inventory management have been running very smoothly ever since we implemented Bitlog. Aside from having to request custom Data Views for specific filtering needs, the software does an excellent job handling everyday logistic needs. Pros I really appreciate the ease of use and clear overview that Bitlog has provided for our warehouse. It has helped us streamline our picking processes and overall inventory management tremendously. We had a temporary worker in over the summer, and getting him going was quick because the user interface is so straightforward. The system integration with Pyramid Business Studio that we use worked really well for our day-to-day workflow. Cons The web application would benefit greatly from more built-in filtering options on pages such as Articles. For example, if you would like to filter and display all articles with expiration dates, there isn't a direct or reliable way to do that yourself. Currently, you will have to contact Bitlog support to set up a custom Data View for you, which slows down the process when you just want quick data. Seemingly economical choice. After a while we feel that this program is ok, but maintaining high level takes up loads of time and no improvements reached. And after a while we discovered that we need to pay more money to fix the different problems that occur. Not a customer-friendly management of the issues. Pros Orderpicking is easy, good information on your different products can easily be shown. Picturefunction available in order to secure correct products. Cons In order to fix bugs in system, you need to spend more money every year to resolve problems. In some cases, they can be resolved, but the waiting time is too long. One month to describe problem for the support team to understand the situation (they could visit the site to understand earlier) and another month to understand that the problem is currently at development team. After this you need to wait even more. Cons There are many good features on paper, but some of them are difficult to use as they aren't fully thought out and difficult to apply in practice. It's better to release less functions which are really developed, instead of releasing many half-baked functions. The system is not bug tested well enough before updates. Without this software we would not be able to manage our delivery promise to our customers. Pros The ease of use and support with iOS devices. Easy to get new staff to learn the software. Cons I think the "backend" is far from the same "ease of use" experience as the client. There are features that are not labeled as critical which could be fatal to use (for example full sync/initial sync) which we will get debited to use - this feedback is not displayed in the backend.
