We were very grateful to solve what was kind of a big deal. Pros Our nonprofit had a problem with link management. Our hosting provider, NationBuilder CMS, provides the www version but if a visitor goes to the non-www version the get a warning message. Nationbuilder sent us to redirect.pizza to solve the problem, and it worked. Cons There’s was nothing to dislike. The service works, and works well, and the whole thing was quick and easy. Wasted hours with support. redirect.pizza ended up being our rescue solution: it took absolutely no time at all to create the necessary DNS records, and we got to see it work in real-time. The fact that it supports redirect on http: AND https: was vital for us, and redirect.pizza really came through on this front. The fact that it was free is the cherry on top. Pros redirect.pizza has a clean, intuitive interface and is easy to sign up for. I was in and able to create my first redirect on a domain we took over within 90 seconds. The website provides very clear instructions on what steps to take to make the redirect take effect, and it updates in real-time as it constantly checks the DNS zone records on the domain to give immediate feedback on whether the redirect is functioning or not. Cons I literally have no complaints about redirect.pizza. For a free service, it did everything I needed it to do, and did it far more effectively than GoDaddy's DNS forwarding service did. However, some users' company security requirements didn't like the redirect and kept the original URL barking about it not being secure. Since we don't have the ability to put an SSL certificate on Microsoft's site, we were stuck until we discovered redirect. pizza.
