Very easy to use. Pros Genuinely set-and-forget. Once configured, it runs in the background without needing attention, which is exactly what I want from a backup tool. Easy to use... the setup and day-to-day interface are straightforward. Cons The connector library could be broader. There are a few sources I'd like to back up that aren't currently supported, and expanding coverage would make it a more complete solution. Review Source BB Bryan B. February 17, 2025 5.0 Easy and fast setup. Zero "maintenance" needed. Easy to restore data (which I've had to do twice due to deletion mistakes from co-workers). Absolutely love ProBackup! Pros Extremely easy and fast to set up. Very intuitive interface. Great way to get instant comfort of knowing data is backed up without needing any advanced technical skills. Using for Asana and Github. LOVING it! Cons Needs to clarify that "restoring" data to Asana doesn't mean restoring the original projects/tasks. It means restoring a copy of the data, which is definitely helpful, but comes with important nuances that are critical for advanced users to understand -- e.g. @mentioned tasks and projects will now have new IDs. But, I don't see any better way to do it, and it gives enormous comfort knowing the data is preserved, so I'm a very happy customer nonetheless. Review Source AH Amos H. Pros Ease of use, great support, great plans, retention options, seamless interface, integration with other apps in one dashboard. Pro Backup fixes that and is inexpensive (especially compared to Asana itself). Pros It just works, point it to Asana installation and it grabs the data and backs it up. Especially good for the peace of mind is the ability to back up to Google Drive. Cons While the UI is modern, it's not too intuitive. On the other hand, you set it up only once, so it's not much of a problem. I also advise my clients to use it. Pros \- The weekly summary gives me positive verification the system is working - How easy it is to add online services to the backup - It's easy to understand the cost for backing up each online service Cons I'd like to be able to see some details of the backup summary at mid level of detail. for example as I've been able to figure with Trello backups, the individual cards are shown , instead of first what boards were backed up, and then allowing you to go down to the card level. Cons Not a lot of export options for the data. Restore functionality for a newly added service was broken until I reported it, but then it was fixed quickly. Web interface is a bit clunky. Pros Consistent and reliable. We haven't needed to use it to pull records back but it's nice to know it's available. Cons We would like to have it backing up our asana program every 2 hours like sharepoint does.
