Pros

Me encanta que mi paso por la universidad ha sido mucho más ameno ya que tengo casi toda la información que necesito en una sola plataforma y no depende tanto del tiempo o disponibilidad de las personas a cargo de responder requerimientos, como la obtención de certificados y entrega de notas o tareas. Con la pandemia y la mecesidad de llevar las clases a la virtualidad poder ver las clases también en la plataforma ha sido algo muy bueno ya que desde ahí mismo se puede acceder a las clases o registrar asistencia, entre muchas otras cosas. Así que es un servicio 100% recomendado y que, personalmente no he visto en otras universidades de manera tan completa, tanto en universidades extranjeras como de Chile.

Cons

Algunas cosas a mejorar son sincronizaciones con otras plataformas externas en las que podría trabajarse, como Google Calendar y el calendario interno de UCampus.

Una experiencia desafiante y gratificante, ya que nos ha permitido incorporar una innovación en los procesos de gestión formativa de la Escuela, que ha superado las expectativas iniciales y nos permite proyectarnos en la mejora continua, con la seguridad de contar con una excelente herramienta y un equipo de soporte muy comprometido y profesional que nos apoyará en ello.

Pros

En una plataforma muy amigable de gestión integral del proceso formativo que lleva a cabo la Escuela. Permite optimizar los procesos académicos, al integrar los procesos administrativos, con la gestión de los aprendizajes de estudiantes y la docencia. Es posible implementar clases virtuales, presenciales e híbridas, con registros de asistencia, de participación, desarrollo de tareas, foros, test virtuales, etc. Así como, observar la trayectoria docente, entregando indicadores sobre su desempeño. También permite monitorear todo el proceso, a través de la integración de herramientas y la programación de alertas para distintos tipos de usuarios, a fin de actuar a tiempo y en conjunto en los desafíos que implican los procesos formativos. Finalmente, es bueno señalar que es plataforma accesible y compatible desde cualquier navegador web, independiente del sistema operativo utilizado.

Cons

Dado el diseño centrado en usabilidad y soportado en Moodle, las herramientas de la plataforma son escalables y adaptables a las necesidades del usuario. Ellos implica trabajo conjunto y puede ser engorroso inicialmente, por lo que requiere disponibilidad permanente de los equipos institucionales a cargo para el trabajo con el equipo de diseño y soporte técnico de Ucampus.

Ha sido una experiencia muy valiosa a nivel institucional, siempre con mucha conversación y análisis de por medio. Esto último a veces ha demorado algunos desarrollos y/o solicitudes, pero precisamente por lo mismo han surgido de mejor forma una vez que se implementan.

Pros

Lo que más nos ha gustado del uso de Ucampus, es todo lo relacionado al registro e inscripciones de carácter académico, lo que nos ha permitido automatizar toda clase de procesos a nivel institucional. La rapidez con la que se adapta a urgencias como la pandemia mundial, que nos permitió registrar, coordinar y almacenar la docencia remota de emergencia, y todos los elementos asociados a ella. Hemos podido implementar desarrollos internos de la UOH anclados a la plataforma y solicitado desarrollos al equipo Ucampus directamente, y hasta ahora todo ha resultado bien.

Cons

En cuanto a las funcionalidades e integración con otras aplicaciones, no tenemos comentarios negativos. Lo único que hemos detectado ha sido alguna dificultad de uso de algunas herramientas con docentes en particular, pero nada que no hayamos podido resolver adecuadamente.
