Caplena helps us a lot in structuring our volumes of open comments, especially from customer surveys but also from Google or Amazon. The tool has a pretty cool UX/UI, is very clear and intuitive. Most users in our company really enjoy working with it. In addition to typical Excel uploads, new APIs to other sources are being added step by step, also with automatic translations. Besides the open comments themselves, further columns or data fields can be uploaded and used within the charts/dashboards to analyze or filter the coded comments more in detail. The dashboards really help to share the coded open comments with colleagues, so that they can interact with the data in their own way. Of course, you have to train the AI concerning your industry, products, type of questions and demand of coding. You can't expect to just upload your mentions and then everything is magically coded without any effort. But the more you train the AI, the better it will work with similar questions in the future. The Caplena team is very dedicated and open to solve individual requests. They also look into these specific requirements and use cases and check whether these are relevant for more customers in order to improve the tool. Cons Smaller aspects, which are partly already in the pipeline, such as certain graphic types or showing the overall base per chart. It has Limits when it comes to more complex text analysis or you have to simply put some more work into. Pros It is a very user-friendly Software. The Software can be easy integrated in the market research production flow. Despite it is a NLP-Software, is offers a lot of human interaction with the data and the process of analysis. Pros Caplena has a clever, intuitive interface that has drastically sped up our project coding time without being overwhelming and still allowing for flexible project configuration. The online platform is very fast and automates much of the coding process without losing the benefits of a hands on process. The developers have repeatedly gone above & beyond to further facilitate projects and features as needed! The software is also constantly optimized and updated with new features. Caplena is very innovativ. Overall they are just a great company. Pros The software is very easy to use. It takes you step by step through how to import data, how to set up a codebook or let the software code for you. They also have very good overview dashboards, so that you can see how the codes are filling up. The AI is also the best I have tested so far. Cons It could be useful to be able to see more answers at once on one page. Especially when you want to check at the end of coding, if the codes fit and you just want to skim through the answers very quickly.
