We are a rapidly growing Language Service Provider (LSP). We reviewed the other solutions on the market prior to selecting Interpreter.io . We could not be happier with our choice. It has enabled rapid growth. Our clients are happy with our responsiveness and our interpreters have a simple online method of managing all their jobs. Given Covid, the on-demand video and telephone interpreting capabilities have meant that our growth can be supported across the preferred delivery channel for interpreting. We have major contracts and therefore we need different rates for these big clients. When we onboard new major clients, we can easily add their rates to ensure that we bill correctly. We plan to add 300 interpreters this year and this system allows us to easily manage their qualifications, credentials (police checks etc), and rates.

Pros

Simple implementation. The system was installed and working the same day, and we were able to set it up for our specific requirements in less than a week. The complete solution allows us to manage the end-to-end process. We switched from a different software because it only met a part of the needs of an interpreting management software. Onsite, telephone and video interpreting booking and delivery capabilities are built in to the system. We can manage spoken language interpreting as well as sign language. Interpreter IO meets all requirements. Cost was an important consideration for us. Interpreter IO not only had the most complete solution against our requirements, it was also significantly cheaper than the competing offerings. Ease of use and flexibility means that we specify the booking forms for each client type and we have full control over our messaging to clients and interpreters. Because it is 100% accessible via the browser, it is used by all stakeholders (operations, customer service language professionals including both staff and contracted interpreters, clients) without them having to install any software. We absolutely love the advanced reporting capability where we can build our own reports from any of the different pieces of data in the system. The drag and drop capability to build the report means that any of our team can get their own reports. We handle thousands of bookings every month and could not achieve this without Interpreter IO.

Cons

This is not really a negative, but an enhancement request. We are looking for instant quoting of translation assignments from our website. Users can then pay for their translation and then it can go into our standard workflow.
