Generally user friendly and makes getting work related docs a breeze. Pros It's quite convenient for inputting your hours on the go. I do like how easy it is to access things like your paystubs and book holiday time off. Cons Navigating in the app can be a bit tricky. I often get lost in it. Cons The setup process is a bit antiquated. I had to submit an Excel spreadsheet to get setup (rather than just doing everything online). ADP provided payroll for me thru my former employer for years prior as an employee. Therefore I already had knowledge of ADP. It was also recommended to me by my former employer. Therefore it was my first choice. Pros The peace of mind. The remittance of taxes and T4 slips to the CRA. The simpleness of processing payroll. The selection of reports you can download. Emails directing us to assistance if needed. Great customer support including virtual help online. Payroll always processed and delivered on time. App for staff to access all their information. Also the security of the site Cons I have never had a negative experience with ADP. However when i realized that they started submitting my payroll taxes quarterly instead of monthly as the CRA had written me a letter about this. It would have been very well appreciated to have received an email from ADP or a message on the site to inform me of this. Instead of wondering why my payroll taxes were not submitted on the 15 of every month. Any changes to any process of your services should also be relayed to the client. Review Source JP Jane P. I only encountered one issue and that was of my making. I have not used this program for several years now as I have changed positions. I am not sure if this still counts. Pros It is a great program for employee management. I was not part of the purchasing process as its was a government job that I was working at but it was fairly common sense and easy to use for our payroll. There were come struggles with us trying to utilize and connect their compensation dashboard with the performance dashboard. I am unaware if they have made progress on that. Pros They were able to tailor a lot of their settings around our needs. I used to think their customer service wasn't great, but after switching to Paylocity, it is much better than some of their competitors. We had some issues with agents on temporary leave because we were required to set a deadline, but with the project we were working on, it was hard to predict timelines. Pros When I was using ADP, I wasn’t a Team Leader. I only used it for payroll and vacation requests. From what I remember, it was pretty easy to navigate and find what you needed. Cons One change, I'd like to see in the future would be a way for employees to submit a change of information: address, phone number, name, etc and where they could upload proof of such a change.
