Being able to see who, how and where our speakers/sponsors are sharing their session/attendance information has been more than insightful. We have been able to boost reach further by commenting and engaging in their posts. Sometimes in the past we have missed posts as we haven't been tagged or so on, this solves that issue.

Pros

The product is extremely easy to use, and delivers on results. It has really opened our eyes as to how much better we could be at speaker/sponsor promotion with the right tool. The customisable campaign templates are great as we'd like to stay on brand at all times. The reporting is real time (& addictive).

Cons

An automated save on design elements would be fantastic. Also perhaps the option to drag and drop elements - sometimes we have multiple logos to include and the boxes for the text can crowd or overlap them.

Fantastic! The customer support is great and the team regularly check-in to see how we are getting on and actively ask for feedback. The tool itself does exactly what it was built for: allows the communities we serve to easily spread awareness to their networks. Plus, the tool allows us to make smarter marketing decisions based on the insights it uncovers

Pros

Referral marketing is key to the success of each and every exhibition. Gleanin allows us to provide ALL stakeholders an easy and intuitive tool that enhances community communication and, crucially, allows us to quantify referral marketing

Cons

As with all tools/systems, success depends on the teams' buy-in and effort made. Gleanin are constantly working with us to enhance the existing features and develop news ones to further improve overall ROI

For us, the results have been deteriorating in the last year. We've tried best practices that seem to work for other regions in our company, but to no avail at the moment, unfortunately.

Pros

The entire idea behind it, it's a nice way to be able to activate our visitors, speakers and exhibitors to share their participation to the event.

Cons

There's a lot of manual work when you're adding speakers and exhibitors, especially when you have a lot of changes overtime and extra added exhibitors closer to the event or initial time when you first added them. We would like it if there was some kind of an API so that Gleanin is able to automate certain things, like the addition of the speakers and exhibitors.

We've had a great experience with Gleanin and have continued to renew our annual membership for 3 years now. We're constantly finding new use cases for it with our events.

Pros

The best thing about working with Gleanin is the incredible customer service. Gerry, the Head of Customer Success is always checking in with us to see if we have any issues. He's constantly sending us ideas of how to maximize our campaign effectiveness and alerting us to new updates with the system.

Cons

It's still a laborious process to upload individual headshots for our speaker campaigns but I am not really sure how to simplify that task.

Pros

Gleanin is an effective and easy-to-use tool to push our attendees and exhibitors to promote the event within their network, via a preferred channel of their choice (which is very convenient for them!) and it helps increase brand awareness and registrations.

Cons

It is becoming more difficult to track conversions due to how the browsers allow these platforms to work, which doesn't allow us to have as many insights as before, but we're glad to hear Gleanin is working on a workaround.

Gleanin has been a great solution to a problem I've been trying to solve for 5 years- scaling the personalized graphics for event speakers. With more than 300 speakers and 600 exhibitors, this was impossible to scale without Gleanin. I appreciate the hands-on attention from the Gleanin team, and the continuous improvements to the platform.

Pros

Gleanin offers a high level of customization for branding and event look, and a really intuitive interface.

Cons

Social media channels can change frequently and it can be difficult to keep up with the shifts they make. For example, LinkedIn deprioritized external links, which impacted the effectiveness of our campaign. LinkedIn is our biggest channel so extra attention to the experience there would be appreciated.

Overall experience has been great so far. Customer support has also been great and efficient. You set it up once and then it does its thing.

Pros

Using Gleanin has dramatically improved our visitor campaign metrics. It's one of our most popular sources for registrations with very high attendance rates. Especially closer to the event, when we're driving a lot of registrations through all other sources (paid, organic, etc.). Gleanin gives us that boost in spreading word of mouth to relevant industry attendees through a trusted peer network.

Cons

Quite easy to use, gets the job done. Nothing to describe as a con. Analytics & insights could be improved to add more view points.

I used the Gleanin software in my previous role as well as this current one. The platform is efficient, easy to use and gives us immediate results. Encouraging our members, speakers and delegates to market via socials on our behalf often feels like an uphill struggle, Gleanin makes it much easier for everyone. The team are quick to respond to questions or queries and add new functionality regularly. We have had really good results with the software and would not hesitate to recommend.

Pros

Ease of use for all stakeholders, ability to add own imagery or create within the software, reporting.

Cons

Any cons we have had in the past have been met with recent updates. We use the software in a slightly different way and it is adaptable enough to enable us to do so. As I type we do not have any cons.

The overall experience is a good one. I like the tool.

Pros

Gleanin's interface is just beautiful. It makes the user experience an enjoyable one. I found creating with Gleanin to be a very pleasurable experience. Even if you are just starting with Gleanin, the automated prompts and detailed guides will help you set up your first campaign within a short time. You could easily set up a campaign in as little as 10 minutes, provided you already have brand assets you intend to use such as your logo. From creating the image template to customizing the share tool, you'll find these actions are pretty straightforward. Finally, embedding your template in your confirmation page is as easy as it gets too. I had to grab the Javascript code generated and install it on the registration confirmation page to trigger the popup prompts. All in all, Gleanin is a great marketing tool if you want your webinars or event attendees and speakers to promote the event further. That's a form of community marketing that can make your event go viral.

Cons

There's nothing I don't like about the software. It does what it's meant to do perfectly.

Working with Gleanin has been a very positive experience so far with an incredibly responsive team, both via the website and on the phone.

Pros

Gleanin is a very easy-to-use tool that allows us to massively expand our social media presence through the organic sharing of social cards by our visitors, delegate, speakers and exhibitors. It also allows us to see which channels are being used to share, allowing us to target our marketing spend more accurately.

Cons

The only area for improvement would be in the data upload/download for mail merges. This is a little cumbersome but I belive that it is being worked on at the moment.

Pros

Showcare loves the social media integrations as well as the other channels. Everyone seems to have an easy experience using this sharing tool. We have seen conversions coming through directly. Will 100% recommend Gleanin to anyone who asks. Client service is amazing!!!

Cons

The upgraded version from the Basic package was great, although we had a few misunderstandings to how to install it. But once it was coded, the tracking worked great!

Excellent product that has been thoughtfully developed to fit the needs of event administrators for event setup, updates and conversion tracking and for attendees/speakers to promote their participation easily. The Gleanin team are great to work with and extremely responsive. They are always planning new features to make the tool even more effective!

Pros

Easy to set-up using intuitive tools, templates and helpful guides. Event set-up can be completed in less than 30 minutes! It's easy for attendees to invite their networks using multiple social media tools and generate a buzz about events and we can see real-time conversion tracking. The speaker and session upload tool works perfectly and the headshot tool is amazing!

No cons...we are eagerly awaiting the upcoming exhibitor module to extend our use of Gleanin

Pros

Gleanin is a very easy software to use. Setting up campaigns is fast and painless. We had created out first campaign and launched it in the same day. The ease of the links to send to our speakers is also a big plus, they can grab the graphic they prepare and share easily. I am planning to use this for all my events and expand it to our exhibitors as well.

Cons

The upload process is easy but make sure our data is clean or it can take longer than expected.

Gleanin is extremely easy to use, and does exactly what you need to do. With the easy to follow steps of creating your campaign you can get ready to go in a short space of time. You have complete control over creating your assets, or you can use your own. You can also add and edit your content, speakers and sessions with ease. The customer service is great, they're extremely fast to respond, update you on any new upcoming features and will also provide quick demo calls if you need some help.

The tool has been pretty much seamless to use and has been empowering as a marketer to not have to rely on a design team to make new banners and edit existing ones if something in a schedule has changed!

Pros

Gleanin community marketing platform is very easy to use and speedy, both as the admin and for the speakers. The best thing has been being in complete control of edits/adding additional speakers and sessions to the data sets, which are then reflected in the dynamic url. Not having to resend a new url or information is ideal. We've also seen great results from our speaker referral campaigns so far!

Cons

There are still some areas of the tool that feel like they need work (unless this is covered by other subscription levels), but a way to archive old content would be great in terms of tidying up the data dashboards, and I wish the reporting by campaign had other visualisation options, like line charts or graphs, rather than bubbles.

The dashboard with all the results for each campaign. Personalized customer support with nice and reactive interactions every time. Visible results that you can quantify. Still improving every day and listening to feedback. Almost all automated, branded and easy for other users (speakers etc)

Pros

It is simple to set up, it doesn't take much time, and our speakers love it. We've had more registrations for our events as a result.

Cons

I would like the splash image for the invite page to be full width. But really, that's a very small thing! I love the platform.
