Good if you plan to use for extended period and ease of adoption to cross reference with other applications thus reducing errors

Pros

Api and access management has a great link to even other embedded softwares i was using making cross referencing easier

Cons

Subscription management not as flexible for short term usage it favours longer tenures of use and trial not as robust

Great for start ups and small businesses who are trying to keep a low overhead. Their customer service is nice to work with, I usually would just chat with them or send them an email because I am familiar with using online software. For someone who isn't tech savvy they do have a call in option.

Pros

Really easy to set up, and integrated with the merchant processing of my choice. When we first switched over Zoho subscriptions were the only tool that could email multiple reminders to the clients prior to the billing renewal which I feel is great for subscription services. The customer portal on the backend allows for customers to change their credit card information without me or one of my team members to have to do it manually. Super time saver. It also notifies my team when a payment doesn't go through for whatever reason and can automatically retry the card again. When we first started, it gave up to $50k worth of transactions as a free trial. Meaning you don't have to pay for a subscription until you reach 50k worth of transactions or a certain number of clients. Really cool.

Cons

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't do a one time payment easily. Sometimes we have one time jobs such as web development or consulting, and it makes it kind of hard to use just this one system. We had to also get Zoho invoice to complement what we were doing. So unless you are doing just recurring subscriptions you'll need to get an invoicing tool as well. Als ran into problems with the customer portal, but most of my clients didn't wnat to log in so it wasn't that big of a deal.

### "Half baked product"

If you want to use it for automated billing, do not waste your time. I spent days setting it up and then adding my customers and then getting them to enter their payment info and then creating their subscriptions and associating their payment method just for it to fail to charge and then block my customers from manually paying. Unfortunately, I was sold on Zoho due to being all in one but I realize I made a mistake as all of their new features are half baked, buggy, and somethings just make zero sense.

Pros

I liked that it came with my Zoho One subscription which means it is cheap however it doesn't work...

Cons

Automatic charges integrated with Square failed the first month we had this set-up. I've also run into issues where I couldn't charge new subscriptions all on the same day and they tried to tell me it was due to Square but I had zero blocks on my account and I regularly charge thousands of dollars per day. There was another error I received when refunding someone through Zoho Billing saying it failed but when I logged into square it had been pushed through and just didn't show in the Zoho Portal.

It is a software that enables businesses to have a professional way of managing their billing. The learning curve does take some time, but once the learning curve is overcome, work flows smoothly for the business. The system offers businesses with the assurance that their data is secure and that they will be able to use their software. Automated Billings and Automated Tax Management systems provide excellent peace of mind.

Pros

Pricing is affordable and has excellent security features. Provides automated billings along with tax support. Offers seamless integration with the entire Zoho ecosystem.

Cons

The initial setup may feel complicated, A beginner may experience a slow learning curve, also advance features are only included within higher pricing plans.

My overall experience is about an eight out of 10. I would definitely recommend this to my colleagues. I would just forewarn them about the wait time to speak to a representative.

Pros

One thing to take away is that the value of money versus the quality of the product is undeniable. you definitely get more than what you pay for. As far as the subscription management invoicing and billing, it’s definitely something worth every dollar.

Cons

A kind to take away is that in the beginning it was a little difficult to understand the instructions to get the implementation started and the wait time to speak to a representative with a little bit longer than I like

We settle bills quicker, reconcile payments more accurately, and post refunds instantly. For the cost, it provides solid value and lower admin time for our weekly shipments.

Pros

Zoho Billing simplified things with our brokered loads' payment processing and invoicing, and security controls instill trust in dealing with client bank accounts and cards. Refund flows and expense tracking are transparent and quick.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve to master taxes, templates, and automated workflows, and there were some corner cases on refunds that needed additional setup. Initial setup was longer than anticipated for our transport applications.

I'm using this to auto bill customers each month and it seems that it does a good job at that with multiple automatic retry if a credit card auto bill fails along with customer notification that it failed or if their card needs updating.

Pros

I really appreciate the integration with Zoho Books so I can have automated entry of my customer subscriptions directly into my accounting software and duplication or manual entries.

Cons

It is nice that it's a stand along product for people that need just the purpose, but since I also use Zoho Books I wish that it were directly part of Zoho Books.

When it comes to subscriptions software, there are not many good choices out there, and the monthly cost is high and this is the case for Zoho subscriptions and it lacks many features available in other software for the same cost. The interface needs to be polished as many features are hidden and hard to find and needs more integrations

Pros

It does what it supposed to do, handle subscriptions and payments for recurring billing, the interface is ok but can be better

Cons

Some features are not available and no API , the cost is kind of high if you have a high number of clients

Pros

Hosting pages features, multiple products, and multiple plans, ease of use, clean interface. Subscription management is also very easy.

ZOHO subscriptions has been beneficial to our business by allowing us to receive our payments much faster than we previously were doing. it's like invoicing and bill collection all in one.

Pros

We like the ability to process all our payment and that is it integrated with ZOHO CRM. The various report that are available allow us to manage our business. We never received any training but have been able to navigate the software pretty good. They customer support does a good job answering our emails and phone calls fairly quickly.

Cons

We are not very happy at the time it takes to complete the process of clearing the ACH transactions. we know immediately whether we are funded but the invoices still show outstanding when they are not. so it makes it difficult to know what invoices are actually outstanding.

It's not absolutely intuitive, but it works as a part of Zoho ecosystem, so if you're already familiar with apps like ZohoBooks - then it won't take a lot of time for you to get familiar with Subscriptions. And yes, as most of the Zoho products - it's very flexible

UI of the checkout pages and emails. It would be good to have more templates available

Pros

Easily handles billing for recurring subscriptions, without having to remember to send bills each month. Allows for either auto-credit card billing, or simply sending an invoice.

Cons

Hard to view details of multiple subscriptions at a single client. All subscriptions are listed exactly the same way, so it makes it difficult to find the specific one for which you are looking.
