### "Hoover's review"

Mixed... Some contact and revenue is not up to date.

Pros

The wholistic view of Data. Most the of the parent daughter is accurate and competitors data is sometimes of value.

Cons

You have to re-enter your preferences every time you log in. Example: I work in Eastern Canada, I focus on IT/Risk and Strategic. I enter with NA and have to refine each time.

Pros

Some good data on sectors that I want to build lists on.

Cons

Support is awful. There are lots of run-around, and no one is helpful.

I would give it a solid A grade. It is a very useful tool for finding and connecting with prospective customers.

Pros

Easy to use. Provides multiple points of contact including cell phone number, email address, and LinkedIn profile access.

Cons

Sometimes the info is outdated. I will try to reach a person and find that they left the company several years earlier.

### "Hoovers is a good affordable option compared to the competition"

Good experience. Like the product for the price point. I will continue to use it because it does meet its purpose and gives an ROI.

Pros

Good company data and good for finding names of contacts for prospecting.

Cons

Some functionality is not as user friendly, a lot of contacts are not updated or accurate, and triggers and Bombora are not as great as I would have hoped for.

### "D&B Hoovers Review "

Overall our organization has had a great experience in using Hoovers. There's been several deals we were able to close because we found the right contact through this software. Would definitely recommend it to other companies if they can get it for the right price.

Pros

How easy it is to use and train others on using. The amount of contact info we capture through Hoovers that helps with sales team. The customer service team has always been helpful when needed as well.

Cons

That it doesn't integrate with our current CRM (quickbase). The price increases every year.

Reason for choosing D&B Hoovers

We honestly didn't look for any alternatives at the time we purchased this product. We used to just call the companies and ask for their emails, etc. or look on their websites.

Pros

I liked that D&B Hoovers provided detailed information about companies and their contacts, as well as a wealth resources for researching potential customers and partners. It was also very helpful that the platform was easy to use.

Cons

I dislike how difficult it was to find accurate and up-to-date information on business. Additionally, the subscription cost was too expensive for what I needed.

I use D&B Hoovers the most for list building for prospects. The search tools is so easy to use and allows me to narrow down my search to the exact profile I am looking for.

Cons

Some of the contact information, I found, has been out of date.

Reason for choosing D&B Hoovers

I use D&B Hoovers to find email address contacts for companies that match out target customer profile. D&B Hoovers also offers company profile information including employee head count and annual revenue which helps me target which prospects have the best chance of benefiting from our product.

Easy to use, good amount of database and easy to find industry niche with the help of SIC Codes and NAICS Code.

Cons

40 to 50% database is inacqurate.Worst customer support and Management TeamThey blocked our account and asking us more $$$$ to unblock

### "Great Search Tool"

The product is easy to use and is a great tool to find out info on competitors and targets, from the size of the company to key contact, and more. We use it a lot, both in sales and in finance.

Pros

We like that we can easily find info on competitors and targets. The information seems to be pretty accurate - certainly better than guesswork. The functionality and searchability is simple to use.

Cons

It is a bit pricey, but we always seem to be able to justify the cost.

It's an important tool when researching international families

I use the software primarily for our international constituents, especially Asia. It ives me clarity on the size of the company that they work for or own, and gives me better insight to their position within thte company. Manager for example could be the CEO or middle management.

It can be difficult to confirm Asian companies due to the repetition in names
