Web Developer Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Convenient way to get a ride" August 25, 2022 5.0 Grab helped me a lot with my delivery needs and grocery needs. You can focus on doing other things instead of going to the grocery or going out to take your parcels or takeout from a restaurant. If you have some money to spare and considering the transportation system here, you may want to just consider getting a ride from them rather than using the public transportation. Overall I recommend this app to others. Pros I like the UI of the app, very easy to use even if you are a first time user. They also offer a lot of service aside from getting a ride. They offer delivery services, grocery services and even there e-wallet feature can be used to pay for other applications and services. There e-wallet has a lot of options on how to be loaded. If you don't want to use their e-wallet, you can use COD, debit, credit or other e-wallet as their payment option. They also offer a lot of promo and discounts when using their app. Cons Sometimes the products that they deliver is not properly handled. Sometimes the packaging is deformed or if you order a drink sometimes its already half full. Also, I experienced a lot of cancellations on my delivery or when I am getting a ride. Things are much more convenient where I live due to this! Pros The mobile application is super easy to use, as a customer and as a provider. They have many services and options for transit, not just Taxi (shopping, for example). Grab Taxi is dynamic, allowing me to choose how many seats i want to utilize/organize. Grab Delivery has decent prices without too much markup, and it is very easy to contact the driver of whichever service you're using. Cons In some areas where I live (on an island), still have few, or no, options for Grab services (delivery, taxi, etc.). Would like to see the service areas extended. It offered many services such as GRAB send ( package delivery service ), mobile airtime top-up option, and more. This stands out against Bolt because fewer of the newer apps don't provide other services. Cons GRAB offered grab points, but it lacked good discounts in comparison to Bolt, as an example. I have been using the Grab app from 2019 to 2023. Often, when my passenger left something in the car, I had to contact Grab customer service to coordinate with the driver, but the process was very cumbersome and annoying. Other than that, I used it without any problems from 2019 to 2023. Therefore, I recommend this app. Pros When you first set foot in Southeast Asia, I guarantee that the most convenient app will be Grab. You can check the taxi's location and your location in real time, and support real-time calls and chats with the driver. The app's UI is intuitive, and even beginners who are not familiar with it can easily use it. Cons When weather conditions worsen or there is heavy rain, it is very difficult to catch drivers. Once we call a rider, he comes within half an hour, and the cost is reasonable. Best of all it saves us having to make a trip down to the courier shop. Cons There aren't many other options like this in the market besides lalamove. As a result, we are basically locked in to whatever pricing they choose. Luckily it is affordable.
