I don't have to wrestle with some complicated CMS, and honestly, that’s worth everything. Pros Our firm needed a way to post case updates and client alerts fast, without having to wait on web developers. Blogger let me draft articles, drop in PDFs, and just hit publish right from my desk, no tickets, no waiting for approval. The templates took care of the formatting on their own. Cons If you want to do anything beyond the basics, customizing templates means digging through HTML, and I’m definitely not a coder. The built-in editor has a habit of stripping my formatting whenever I paste from Word. Because of that, I’ve just started cleaning up my citations manually before I upload them. I've created many permanent sites and some temporary. They are easily indexed through the Google console to get great placement on search engines. They're easy to create and are very simple to use for a quick site needed to promote a special piece of my art for an upcoming event. Pros I can make as many websites as I want for free. I use them with Google adsense and products I sell to bring in more revenue. Because they are by Google I am able to easily get relevant traffic using basic SEO skills. It also offers a free ssl certificate internally placed for security requirements. Cons Because it is free, it has many limits that a paid host offers. The templates are limited so much customizaion is needed.
