I've created many permanent sites and some temporary. They are easily indexed through the Google console to get great placement on search engines. They're easy to create and are very simple to use for a quick site needed to promote a special piece of my art for an upcoming event. Pros I can make as many websites as I want for free. I use them with Google adsense and products I sell to bring in more revenue. Because they are by Google I am able to easily get relevant traffic using basic SEO skills. It also offers a free ssl certificate internally placed for security requirements. Cons Because it is free, it has many limits that a paid host offers. As a user, it does the job but if someone posts defaming blogs there's little to no support in getting the material removed Pros The ability to easily create, publish, and share content online is extremely easy, even a child can do it. Cons There's no live customer support. All support is through an AI system, with the option to submit a report to be reviewed but there's no feedback or communication from support team. Cons My least favorite thing about blogger was that it just didn't offer much outside of hosting a blog. And there doesn't seem to be much in terms of SEO help for instance a lot of the terms even though it's with Google didn't match up to what I was used to and you would think a lot of the things that Google uses to rank would be included but they are not for instance meta tags and all that stuff would be a lot easier to access or utilize. My experience with Blogger was cool via the pros that I mentioned earlier but the side effects of using Blogger is something I do not recommend for any serious blogger out there. Get web hosting, optimize your website, and rank very high on Google and other search engines, which is one of the goals of every serious blogger. Pros My main blog today began with Blogger blog builder, and I would say Blogger it's probably the best when you talk about free blogging, no web hosting and it's easier to acquire Google AdSense on your blog because they own the platform. Cons Blogger is 100% free simply doesn't mean everything is perfect, I recently switched to WordPress because I couldn't customize my blog to my desired taste, and for me to do so, I must either approach third party websites to acquire HTML codes or go on Fiverr or Upwork to get a freelancer to do that for me, all in wasting of money. WordPress has unlimited plugins that do assist me in running my blog without approaching any random website, and I believe, every free stuffs got limitations just like Blogger. I have been an irregular creator and have moved countries a few times but Blogger always remained part of my creative footprint. It never lost a single word or text I ever wrote on it. I often write on it in both Hindi and English and it always worked. All this while I have come across many other platforms but I never think about shifting and feel good about having a familiar interface coming up whenever I log in. Cons The URL says it as blogspot but it's official name is Blogger. I ever confused confused why two names. Often it sends out some messages re some content copyright issues which are too difficult to comprehend.
