If search and filters are critical to what you're presenting to the world, Pory does exactly what you need. I'm almost done creating my website and I've only been working in Pory for about 3 hours! Cons Ideally it would be great to have more content forms supported, such as blogs. I think it's doable to create them via pages though, just not easily apparent from the tool itself. That said, I know Pory is new so I imagine things will continue to grow as time continues. It's helped me bring a few projects to life that I wouldn't have been able to make otherwise, and I keep exploring it to see what new ideas I can put out into the world. Pros I love the transparency and availability of the founders. They're always working on shipping and they communicate to users well in their updates. I wish the product could do more, but as I learn more about how to use it, I realize that it's more powerful than I think and I'm confident it will continue to improve. Cons It can be confusing to use the constructor forms and to know how your data should relate to a UI. There are limited ways that information can be presented, but those are also helpful guard rails against a broken spaghetti app. Reason for choosing Pory I chose Pory because it was the easiest tool to use that I found. September 15, 2021 5.0 As I described above, but additionally, I've been Able to make quick, on the fly simple websites for events, hobbies, vendor groups, etc. I am NOT a coder. I'd love to be, but simply have no time to learn. This software allows me to get the results I want, without struggling to figure out API. Pros I have had a few persistent issues in my business over the years. A big one is my Swatch book (fabric swatches) management. Airtable took me a long way, but an embedded airtable is a bit clunky for my clients. Pory had allowed me to beautifully integrate these options in my website and each update has made it even more usable, intuitive and seamless. Cons Pory is constantly in development, which means that sometimes things get a bit broken with new releases. The payoff is worth the inconvenience, but it is something to keep in mind. The founders are always updating and improving the software, ux, ui, etc. They're super hands on and have always offered a consistent and effective customer service. I'm undoutedbly a happy customer. Cons As a relatively new startup, it's really common to have missing features. At the time of writing, you can still only make apps using Airtable (Notion and Google Sheets are in the roadmap though), collecting payments and other features are still under development. But overall, I would say 90% of the necessary features to successfully use Pory.io are there and working. Reason for choosing Pory I realized that with Pory I would be able to do 99% of the work I was aiming for, for a fraction of the price. Review Source TC Trevor C. I like the fact they are constantly adding more features and updates. It's so easy to use and make even the skeptical in no-code hype believe in it because he or she will see the superpowers of this tool right away in 5 min of using Pory. I use it in some of my client's projects and so far the experience is good. Pros The customizable layouts, because it saves you a lot of time you would otherwise spend it in building what you want. I almost interested in curation and directories. so Airtable and Pory is splendid mix for my needs. Cons The dependency on Airtable. I'd easily recommend this, the free plan is non committal and enough to know you need it. Give it a try Pros It's easy, you have lots of ways to display data graphically for a low cost online however pory's the only one that structures it like in a card or interactive way. It's engaging and provides a quick way to send tons of info. It's ability to quickly adapt to data too is quite useful, and submission makes this a breeze, if you want public forms or a producthunt like tool this will take you less than a hour Cons It integrates well with what I have, the main thing I didn't like was that there was no way to define which way you wanted categories or tagging to work, it was inflexible in displaying data in fringe cases. It has a known purpose, don't get the software if it doesn't suit, but stretching its purpose is limited at the moment. It's hard to spice up the display of cards or otherwise. That said the new update (9/15/2021) looks to address this however we have not had the time to properly explore this Reason for choosing Pory Simplicity, airtable usage and a much cleaner handling of data. I've been trying to utilize Airtable for a side project of mine for awhile, but the users were a little overwhelmed by interacting with it and hosting it via iFrames on my website was slow. In a matter of hours I had a faster, more user-friendly interface. Cons The opportunity for the user to interact with the data / update the date more directly would be amazing. The included templates make implementation a breeze. I have my site set up in less than 4 hours. How good is that?? Pros The ability to link directly to Airtable and it just works! Multiple templates and a variety of customization make this a no-brainer for no-code website. :D Cons There are a few minor bugs while setting up the page. Support is awesome and all my queries were resolved within 24 hours. And loved it. So I dug to find out what they used, and that's how I found Pory. At the same time, I had a client who needed help building a directory. I got in to play around with it, and got a friend to hop on a zoom call with me. Within 2 hours I had a directory style website set up on Pory using AirTable. The options for application are endless. Pros I love the interface. The ease of use. The templates made life easier. Cons It's early stages to be honest for the company, and considering how early they are, I don't have any major things that I felt were missing. Just required a bit of tinkering around. September 16, 2021 5.0 Creating impressive content without code has always been my dream. I've used a few other tools in this space, but the no/low-code tagline wasn't as real as I'd hoped. Pory does fit the bill and makes it dead simple to connect a database that's easily understandable in Airtable, then use that as a basis for a beautiful website. It's cliche to say: but it just works. Pros The UX is the one that sold me on Pory. It's not simple to provide ease of use when what you're building is actually quite complex. But they've managed to make the entire process painless. And once I've built a website, it's even easier the second and third time. I keep coming back with fresh ideas, it's great! Cons There are limited templates available at the moment. It's not such a big deal at the moment. But I feel that over time I would feel like I only have a certain amount of fixed ideas, that need to fit those specific templates.
