Not ready to invest in salesforce? Look no further than sugar CRM, it is free to start and has lots of CRM features for your sales team.

Cons

A bit DIY but it starts free and has lots of features.

I am a user, not an administrator and I find the tool easy to use. I would say one area that could be improved is the search functionality. It is a little cumbersome and does not allow you to cross-search among different record types.

I have used Saleforce on another job and when i started with my company I am with now we used Sugar. Boy what a difference. Much easier to use and faster to get reports done . Awesome!!! Archie Andrews would be proud!!

Love the application . Love the ability as a non-programmer to be able to develop new modules that meet our specific requirements. We are On-Demand and seem to have issues after upgrades but generally get them resolved.

For the money, it's quite a bargain, and provided you pay for the correct level of customer support, that support is very good indeed.
