our previous CMS for our sales and accounting team... but we have transitioned.

Pros

very basic interface makes Sugar easy to use and train colleagues on how to navigate. Uploading documents is easy, tracking changes in accounts or which were viewed are conveniently located at the top. Reporting can be improved but simple boolean phrases work!

Cons

Search bar can be a headache - you absolutely have to know the exact account name from first to last name/word or else it won't show up in the results. Integration with other software is not supported either.

Pros

Customizable, good report generation module, integrates well with Microsoft Office programs and QuickBooks

Cons

I wish there were more integrations with other software, i.e. Constant Contact. Most major software programs seem to be very focused on SalesForce integrations with everything else an afterthought.

Pros

I like cloud based updates, but that's all I like.

Cons

Constant planned increases in price without keeping pace with new functionality. Forced to purchase through constantly changing reseller network. Having to pay for integration with Quickbooks. This is a dinosaur trying to avoid the tarpit.

Ho testato sugar crm per un po' di tempo poi abbiamo scelto altro.

Pros

Quando ho scelto di implementare un crm in azienda ho fatto diversi test (crm più famosi e personalizzabili). Ho testato anche sugar crm, devo essere sincero...buon prodotto, ben pensato, pieno di moduli.

Cons

Non è proprio il crm più semplice da implementare, non è il più "bello" di default, non è quello che sceglierei

### "Sugar CRM. Pretty sweet, but it wasn't always like that!"

Pros

When you learn it, it IS great software. Sugar is of course different than other CRMs because they each have their own 'flavor' and style. Over the past few years, they have really gotten their act together.. better support, better website, better user interface. If you get a demo and it feels right and easy to adopt, you can't go wrong.

Cons

In my opinion, Sugar was overpriced as of the last time we looked at it, tested it for a few months, but decided to go another direction. I got the feeling of 'it's our way or the highway'. And I know plenty of people use Sugar and it works well, but it wasn't for us. At the time, Sugar had a Community Edition (free) that you could host on your own LAMP stack... but they wanted to make more money, so they stopped development of that edition, and now it's dead. Now it's all paid subscriptions, like pretty much everything these days, and they have the plans set up so if you need just one extra feature, you have to upgrade to a higher tier, which costs significantly more money.

### "Best CRM I've Ever Used"

Starting at $30/user/month - this is by far the best value I've seen on the market for sales and marketing CRM software. It's not Salesforce.com which is a good thing because Sugar is easier to implement, easier to use, a fraction of the price, and does just about everything that higher end systems can do if you're creative and work with a partner to tailor the application to your business like we did.

Pros

We are a Sugar CRM reseller but this review is from my perspective as a user of this fantastic software. Most CRM is the same functionally - manage accounts, contacts, opportunities, etc. But what sets Sugar apart from the rest of them are three fundamental things: 1. Simplicity - Sugar CRM is clean. It's super easy to get any information you need without needing your IT guy to build you a custom report. 2. Customization - Every business is different and you need your CRM system to adapt to you. Sugar Studio makes tailoring your software easy - even if you're not that technical. Dare I say - even a marketing or sales person could do it. 3. Plug-Ins - There are tons of plug-and-play add-ons to extend SugarCRM in virtually any area - support desk, email marketing, and much more. We use Inbox25 for email marketing and are leaning toward InsideView for integrated list management but there are so many other options to consider.

Cons

We are using the hosted, On Demand version which limits our access to source modifications (somewhat). We have been able to work around all of these so far. If we get to a point where we need more access to modify the underlying program we can always bring the product in-house and customize to our hearts content. There have been a few minor bugs that we've found - certainly no more than we had in our previous CRM system but Sugar's support team had them resolved - almost immediately!

One of the main benefits is having the mobile app that SugarCRM provides this helped to get us data and information at our fingertips when needed. Sugar is reasonably priced, has pretty good user-friendly interfaces and requires just a little training to get used to it. It's more suitable for mid-sized companies.

Pros

SugarCRM functioned well for storing prospect and customer information. I was able to load new contacts into the system without much hassle. Our company is able to adjust the system software to fit our specific needs with ease simply by reaching out to the support team.

Cons

We wanted to explore other CRM options it was nearly impossible for me, from a user standpoint, to export all of our information. We were coming up on the end of our trial and stood to lose all of our data and I couldn't figure out how to export it. Difficult to do filters as well. I didn't like the format for leads to accounts to sales. Pipeline is also difficult to follow.

Sugar was ok as a CRM, but when we tried to use this for our customer support portal thats where we found the real issues. It is a slow and outdated platform that needs an overhaul.

Pros

It can help manage your customer base, keep track of relationships, and also manage your customer service portal.

Cons

This software is not easy to use. Its hard to navigate, slow as molasses, and is not user-friendly. We used this as a crm at my old company for a few years until we upgraded to Salesforce. Night and day difference.

Pros

Since the latest updates it became very user friendly compared to previous interfaces, it has several modules you can purchase and also customize to your own needs, given that these are designed correctly. The latest version of the App is really good and saves a lot of time in you are on the road.

Cons

It was not the simplest thing to connect it to a Dashboard service and also to setup reports, but once you set it up runs pretty smoothly. It might have been an issue with my company's server but it ran incredibly slow when outside company's internet, being very frustrating to use on the go. The Outlook Add-on never worked properly and made my outlook crash all the time, finally removed it.

I guess it's pretty customizable. But honestly other than being created in the modern computing era, there's not much more I can say I loved.

Cons

It is incredibly frustrating to actually get customizations and integrations to work. Every time you update, something breaks. The search functionality is garbage.

Cons

Costs are lower that SF with overall customization easily adaptible for whatever our sales/marketing group dream up

Cons

The plug-ins at times can be a bit of a pain to sync up against. I ended up setting up "bcc" email rule that tied my emails back to the crm.

Overall extremely pleased with this product. It has led us away fromSugar to Hubspot for Marketing and customers services. But we still use SUGAR in Finance areas. It is a good tool but need more. I also use SugarMarket and I recommand it.

Cons

Filters to create lists can be better and expanded. Not super intuitive to start out.

Pros

SugarCRM is customizable and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your organization .The way you can store and access customer data is intuitive . It is also easy to pull out the data you need on Excel files and then add it to the program(s) you use for analytics .

Cons

The interface on mobile is noticeably different than on desktop and the app is overall slow and buggy . You can't log in simultaneously from multiple devices .SugarCRM doesn't integrate with almost any other program and information transfers have to be done manually .

The only reason we keep this program is due to the reporting option and amount of eligible shortcuts.

Cons

There are so many flaws and inconsistencies in this program it's laughable. I would not recommend this system for dispatching purposes. Not user friendly.
