I like working with this CRM. If all you need is notes, call logs, and pending opps then this app is for you

Pros

I think its very easy to use. Simple. I thoroughly enjoy it and the fact that there is no flashy thrills or anything attached.

Cons

Its not really a con but it guess the simplicity could be a turn off for some organizations that need something a little more advanced and able to do more things.

It does help in keep my data organized but at times, find the multiple multiple clicks super time consuming and also tedious and frustrating.

Pros

Fairly easy to learn and navigate through. I like that we can track and enter information for our data maintenance.

Cons

Too many clicks to get from save to another. Gets frustrating. It is hard to get many emails out at once in initiatives.

Good tool, but costly

Pros

Because of its basic design and user interface, this CRM is incredibly simple to use. I enjoy how SugarCRM presents reports and dashboards in an easy-to-understand format. SugarCRM ensures the security of data and information, and now I can quickly manage the various campaigns, build new campaigns for everybody, and receive a thorough view of everything.

Cons

The pricing is so high, the only thing I dislike.

### "It can't keep up"

At start when was used in the company where I work was working relatively fast with quick load times and almost zero crashes, but when the company grow with more employees, new headquarters and more customers and much more data in our database, the software become slow, sluggish and very unstabble. Even when I was testing a new version out of the box of sugar with an empty database in wamp and xamp enviorement , it was very slow and sluggish .

Pros

Customization:Have the posibility to create new modules

Cons

Slow Ugly and ancient UI Hard to use Lack of good support documentation

We use CRM to track our sales leads, current customer support and create mass mailing lists. It is a very powerful tool when used correctly.

Pros

It is a very robust systems that can be used for tracking customer support, sales and contact management.

Cons

Because of it customizable nature, it can be set up incorrectly by the end user. For this reason, it is very important to have someone in house that is very Sugar savvy to ensure it works the way you need it to. When updates are delivered, it commonly knocked us down for a few days while we implemented changes to make everything work again.

Pros

It's really good to keep a track of all different incidents from customers, it manages to create a ticket number for each and is very organized, it allows to create templates for easy ticket creation

Cons

I think it's stuck in old days, I didn't see any updates to the platform in years therefore we decided to try other products.

Better Customer Satisfaction from effective management of touch points. Sales productivity because they spend less time doing "paperwork" and more time selling. Effective management of RGA process, Special Quotes, Purchasing, mailing literature, tracking sales activity.

Pros

Built-in development tool (Studio) and the Advanced Workflow Manager. One can have a functional, useful, robust, effective, CRM running within an hour. Getting started by importing Accounts and Contacts is easy and the software modules allows customization the meet specific business needs.

Cons

The Advanced Workflow Manager is still missing a few functions that were available in the "old" Workflow Manager. There is a plan to remove the prior Workflow, but its demise has been delayed until the SugarCRM folks fix the deficiencies.

Great tool to manage relations with customers and follow-ups, brought some visibility where it was lacking.

Pros

Extremely configurable, vastly customizable, lots of modules available, large online community, free version.

Cons

The only sad part about it is that all the captions used for drop-down lists (Or radio buttons or any multiple choice controls) are stored straight to PHP pages and not in the database (So in MySql you end up having only keys but no trace of the long values). There is some workaround (Nightly job to extract and copy those in a table), but it's a hassle.

Pros

Sugar can be a great entry level CRM solution for business just looking to organize their corporate data. You'll want to make sure that you put a lot of checks in place to make sure that you keep things standard when your data needs expand. The backbone of Sugar can handle some pretty substantial loads and has some nice APIs to work with.

Cons

Some of the ways you manage users in the system can be a little complex and unintuitive at first. It may take some time to get used to the way things are laid out.

Most of it's features and integrations are very helpful and making the daily work easier for it's users. The option of several integrations (HubSpot, Jira, Clockify etc.) is great.

Cons

There are still versions with an outdated look and feel. Even the latest version can be still worked on regarding visuals.

It has worked well and really empowered our sales process. For the first time, we are able to easily see where a pursuit is in the sales process. Overall, it has increased our team selling and made communication more efficient across the selling team. Sugar has a good base and framework to build out marketing automation, which is driving better market awareness and sales than before.

Pros

Sugar is easily customized and the option to host on-site is not available by a lot of other CRM providers. We are able to synchronize a lot of data from our existing business software easily by directly accessing the SQL database. With the cloud version, we would have had to write code utilizing the CRM API to synchronize everything. Building all of that would have been significantly more expensive for us. From both the Admin and user perspectives, the software is very easy to learn and intuitive. Our users are very happy with the new software and easy it is to use.

It hasn't worked for us properly since we bought it three years ago. We have a contract with a third party company who is there to run health checks and updates as well as provide simple technical questions. (that company never returns or answers our call) Just seems like the way of Sugar!

It was a great place to store leadscontacts/and track opportunity pipelines

Pros

It has very comprehensive help docs and the answer was always available. It offered a lot of customization with little experience in managing CRM.s

Cons

It was very very slow when running through Sugar's own servers. We had to pay a 3rd party to host this elsewhere which was lame because we were not managing very many people of leads. Not ideal for cold calling, it was pretty clunky to track many calls per day. Some of the more intense marketing automation stuff was not very intuitive, they made up a lot of their own language and had some annoying steps to get things done that were not always clear.

This has been very useful to maintain digital client files and to monitor the work on client cases.

Pros

It can be personalized for your particular company or organization. The fields can be easily edited and it is extremely easy to run reports. The notes function is very easy to use. You can also connect emails to sugar and save emails. The calendar function is very useful as well.

Cons

There are more lags and "time outs" than I've seen with some other software. However, the issue is usally addressed fairly quickly.

Cons

Very easy to use, gives a lot of benefits for its price. I would definitely recommend others to use it (and I do :-)).

Pros

Very easy to use, very easy to migrate data. Adding leads to the system is as easy as 1, 2, 3 and following up is very easy since there are very good notifications that could be sent to your email (which means they could be sent to your smartphone as well, hehe :-)).

Cons

Naturally, there's a learning curve and the need to customize the system to show the right data and not an abundance of it. Some people may think it's a little dull or outdated, especially in terms of overall UX but I think the simplicity is the key deal maker here.

Not a good experience from my side personally. We went into partnership through Sugar for our CRM The Project was sent in its entirety to Fellow Consulting the so called Elite Partner before anything started for accurate examination and projected costs. Its now April 2018 ,11 months later we cannot present the CRM to staff for implementation. We managed in December to get Sugar Technical experts to look at the situation and to the work of Fellow Consulting and this raised more questions than answers as to why Fellow did what they did. I begged SugarCRM to assist but all to no effect and now we go to Court. The attitude from one of the rep was one of complete indifference to whether we went legal. I am not big enough for this to worry SugarCRM in any way. The CEO sent me a email that he was concerned about our experience and that I should contact him, I did but never got an answer. We have now started with a New Company for our CRM needs and going to Court with Fellow Consulting and SugarCRM. I wish this was not necessary as there are no real winners in such cases but currently I have nothing to lose. I hope that justice will eventually be done as there is no other way with these Companies from my experience.

Pros

I learned a lot about Contracts and the do' and dont's about what to look for with contracts of this nature, SugarCrm leave themselves no a position of being very hard to touch regardless to what they do to you.

Cons

we have existed as a Company since Jan 2010 and always made money. Since putting our Trust in Sugarcarm we lost a lot of money, as we had no CRM to work with.
