Very easy to use, gives a lot of benefits for its price. I would definitely recommend others to use it (and I do :-)).

Pros

Very easy to use, very easy to migrate data. Adding leads to the system is as easy as 1, 2, 3 and following up is very easy since there are very good notifications that could be sent to your email (which means they could be sent to your smartphone as well, hehe :-)).

Cons

Naturally, there's a learning curve and the need to customize the system to show the right data and not an abundance of it. Some people may think it's a little dull or outdated, especially in terms of overall UX but I think the simplicity is the key deal maker here.

Not a good experience from my side personally. We went into partnership through Sugar for our CRM The Project was sent in its entirety to Fellow Consulting the so called Elite Partner before anything started for accurate examination and projected costs. Its now April 2018 ,11 months later we cannot present the CRM to staff for implementation. We managed in December to get Sugar Technical experts to look at the situation and to the work of Fellow Consulting and this raised more questions than answers as to why Fellow did what they did. I begged SugarCRM to assist but all to no effect and now we go to Court. The attitude from one of the rep was one of complete indifference to whether we went legal. I am not big enough for this to worry SugarCRM in any way. The CEO sent me a email that he was concerned about our experience and that I should contact him, I did but never got an answer. We have now started with a New Company for our CRM needs and going to Court with Fellow Consulting and SugarCRM. I wish this was not necessary as there are no real winners in such cases but currently I have nothing to lose. I hope that justice will eventually be done as there is no other way with these Companies from my experience.

Pros

I learned a lot about Contracts and the do' and dont's about what to look for with contracts of this nature, SugarCrm leave themselves no a position of being very hard to touch regardless to what they do to you.

Cons

we have existed as a Company since Jan 2010 and always made money. Since putting our Trust in Sugarcarm we lost a lot of money, as we had no CRM to work with.

I have been using SugarCRM for several companies. What stood out to me is the functionality you are getting right out of the box you are getting everything you need for the fraction of competitor's price. I would rate customer support 6 stars, they are always on top, extremely fast, and even providing you with the solutions for 3rd party applications. Another big thing is ability easily integrate SugarCRM with your own applications or install custom plugins. API functionality is quite impressive and easy to use, we have done a lot of integrations and automation in our company. I recommend SugarCRM to everyone who wants to take his/her business to the next level, and actually see what is happening in the organization, and why.

UI is slow for 2017. Need to speed up the response time.

It wasn't the most difficult system but the feel of it being out of date with the lead quality low made it difficult at times.

Pros

Once the system is learned, it's decent to maneuver. It did sync well with your outbound calendar and have the functionality to schedule appointments through it.

Cons

It seemed out of date. Many of the leads it would give me were not correct information. Many leads were closed businesses or duplicates.

We had the On Demand product, it started out with our data imported 4 times. Then we were blamed for the duplicates. We were promised features, that after setting everything up would now cost extra.

Lots of add-ons, more than one support group.

Overall, Sugar has worked pretty well for us. As with most customizable software, it is all about the implementer and getting it set up well. If we had worked to get other areas more integrated, I would rate it higher. We are a smaller company (15 users), and do not have a " Sugar champion" other than the president. Reporting module is easy to use, the mobile app is (now) pretty good. We recently looked at the other major CRM apps, and chose to continue with Sugar. We are making some much needed changes to our Sugar instance, which will help with utilization.

Pros

Pretty easy to use, robust mobile app, good reporting.

Cons

Some basic functionality is missing, ie, had to write a custom report/fields to be able to see when the last time a contact was contacted (email, meeting or phone).

A CRM with a tight partner community, strong work flows and automation rules, with easy integrations a plenty!

Pros

Ability to quickly and easily parse through the contact data, including sales quotes and order forms. The small side bar, which out of the box, provides easy to use data with a customizable formatting. Our integration is able to natively leverage these tables for data insert/export. Combining all this data plus the ability to configure work flows and automations, is priceless for a CRM. Sugar's partner community is vast and quick to respond for all issues. Very responsive.

Cons

Sugar CRM can sometimes but troublesome to investigate issues, as a lot of the environments are cloud based. This usually involves sending an email to support where they are quick to remedy the issue.

Pros

Sugar really can be customized to fit any organization or department. When fully utilized, it can "connect the dots" between various siloed departments that otherwise would not share information. The record search function works well. Your mileage may vary w/r/t interface speed, but I found it to be pretty zippy as far as CRMs go.

Cons

Sugar requires a LOT of work to implement and quite a bit of training after the fact. The potential of SugarCRM is limited to the capabilities of the team using it. If the organization is less tech-savvy, you will encounter a lot of pushback as builds can be somewhat counterintuitive until you are comfortable with it. Each iteration of SugarCRM i've seen has a lot of under or non-utilized features just gathering dust. Given the cost I can conceive of better solutions.

Such a great user-friendly CSR dramatically helped us with our database and email/direct mailers.

Pros

Ability to adapt, user friendly, ability to hold alot of documents per account. We used Sales Force in the past and had issues with shared views with representatives covering shared territory. That has not been the case with Sugar

Cons

phone application needs help. This is the only issue we have noticed it does't take all the required data so they the reps have to add more via PC

Overall I would highly recommend this product! It is user friendly, although can appear overwhelming at times, its hard to "get lost" or "break" anything! There are some features that you may need to fine tune depending on what you are looking to use the system for but overall rated 9/10 across the board! Highly recommended!

Pros

I like that this software is easy to grasp the concept of, easy for a new user to understand and navigate through! Has lots of areas to store, create, and customize/analyze all types of data! Still learning something new everyday!

Cons

The only downside that I have found to the software for our purposes here we track each callers name, email, phone and fax number, would be nice to make that existing info populate ask you are selecting the main contact (companies) name and the contact details auto pop so you do not have to ask for them but rather verify them

As a small business, we needed to keep track of our vital customer information in a CRM system. SFDC was outside of our price point, so we decided to go with SugarCRM. The system turned out to be very challenging to implement - we certainly didn't have enough resources in house to do this efficiently. Overall, though, SugarCRM is a useful tool, but it just isn't worth the pain and hassle if you're a very small business.

We have been using Sugar for almost 8 years and have been happy with it. The workflow consistently causes issues and the options for employee files is limited. We also here lots of negatives from our employees on user-friendliness however, the admin love its functionality.

My overall experience with SugarSell has been satisfactory. Because I was able to achieve my core business objective of tracking new prospects interested in becoming my customers and targeting them with marketing campaigns to retain them for the long term. Once I am able to perfectly integrate leads data with Google Analytics sessions data and connect the dots between submitting the become a customer form to account login and products engagement as well as conversions, I will find more value inSugarSell tool.

Pros

I use SugarSell software to track new customer leads for my e-commerce business. When I run a report on new leads, I want to know name of the customer, email address, which country that customer belongs to, etc. All these vital parameters are captured by SugarSell. It also assigns a unique identifier called web id to every new prospect who submits the become a customer form. So, there are no duplicate leads in the same report. Using information gathered form SugarSell reports, I am able to run nurture campaigns to retain the new customers by providing a user friendly experience and targeted coupons. This strategy has helped me improve quality of my leads who are engaged and returning often to buy more of my items.

Cons

When I started using SugarSell leads acquisition software, I had to get used to its interface and features. So, folks who don't have analytical or technical background, there is a sharp learning curve. After I got used to the interface, I had to work with implementation team to configure the software to meet my custom business needs around reporting and targeting. Plus, it was extra effort to integrate lead submission data with Google Analytics customer session data. Hence, be prepared to invest more of your budget into customizing the tool and maximizing its potential. Then only you can improve your ROI.

We understand more about the daily activities of traveling and phone based salespeople and can be regularly updated with notes. Tech work is easily tracked and shared company wide instead of being branch based. Email and phone lists are easily generated to focus on specific groups.

Pros

Both salespeople and management are able to use the information generated to increase sales and look for new opportunities.

Cons

Not being a programmer, it can sometimes take a lot of work to tweak the program to specific ideas. Integrating old information that is not in Sugar categories had to be done manually and took a lot of time, but it was worth the effort.

Since the last update our page has too much blank space. We were told there is nothing we could do about it. I think we should be able to Bold words and or sentences. Also, We used to be able to copy and past and it does not allow that anymore.

Pros

There does not see be a lot of down time. In other words it is very seldom out of service. The format is good since we can customize it. Customer service is fast, professional and courteous.

Cons

We should be able to BOLD or Underline . We need more color options. We need to be able to highlight within our comment section. We cannot cut and paste like we used to be able to do.
