Pros

Intuitive user interface; real time mobile access; flexible data structure; easy to use filters and reports.

Cons

The from-the-box package needed to be modified to allow many-to-many relationships between contacts. Also, I would like to see contacts and prospects merged into one record type.

Pros

We were told that we could create our own billing program using this software. Also thought it would be able to deliver useful reporting

Cons

We are still struggling to use the software because we have had trouble getting good hands on support. We know there is alot that can be done with the software, but each time we need a change or a report generated, it costs us hundreds of dollars in fees.

Easy to use ! Full of usefull functionalities like : Contacts, Prospects, Leads ! Great tool for emailing newsletters.

Cons

No tools for archiving, after using it for more than 10 years, the email data gets hudge and it becomes barely usable.

Pros

Is a really good tool for small companies, really like the approach form the customer service team when I had some issues.

Cons

once you start thinking about scaling many integrations and reporting tools are missing. Some work on UI would be appreciated.

Reason for choosing SugarCRM

Price and need at that single moment.

Pros

We have highly customized the application and it has worked very well for our specific industry. Easy to program and easy to work with.

Cons

There are some legacy portions of the software that pose some challenges but Sugar upgrades their application often the only issue is when you run a highly customized sugar application it is challenging to upgrade to newer versions.

Tracking and accountability of our customer base and opportunities. The amount of data that can be pulled for research and development

Cons

Creating reports and the amount of steps that it takes creating a new lead, converting it to an account, and creating a contact, plus issues with the software finding duplicate accounts.

Pros

Sugar is a very simple and approachable program. The functionality makes it an easy training experience for new hires.

Cons

The program tends to crash frequently. Once daily. It also has a difficult time processing multiple notes if you change the scheduled call time simultaneously.

good distribution of the system, you can visualize in an integrated way all the information of the potential clients and relevant contacts, and allows to track the frequency with which the seller attends the contact

Cons

the installation and configuration (to manage the large resources it needs) requires technical expertise, it does not allow to visualize the interactions of potential customers in social networks. Self service reporting is good, but could be better, Creating custom reports can be dificult.

So so...nothing special but nothing really to complain about.

Pros

It did the job and once learned it worked well....the problem was it took a while to figure out.

Cons

We used Sugar before I was introduced to other products, so it may not be fair to compare while you are learning, but it lacks functionality and could use an overhaul.

We document any contact we have with our clients. Anyone in our organization is able to pick up where another left off simply by looking at our notes in Sugar. We don't have to remember what we did last week, month or even last year, instead we simply review our notes.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It was a huge waste of money.

Cons

We didn't like anything about this CRM software. It wasn't as customizable as they made it sound, it constantly crashed, constantly had errors, and it was the biggest waste of time. I do not recommend anyone use this.

Lots of great features, highly integrateable

Pros

This is great for small, mid-sized businesses. The backend setup is very user-friendly and the fact that you can make multiple fields for data at one time is a huge plus! I also very much enjoy the process builder on the back for automation. Great functionality.

Cons

There just seems to be something missing. There is tons of things this app does right, but there are a few things that it does wrong as well. But for the pricepoint you cant really be mad at it.

SugarCRM is an excellent crm solution. It provides an excellent platform to track leads and progress towards converting those leads into sales.

Cons

Seems overly complicated at times. However, this might be resolved if I spent more time watching tutorials to learn all of the features.

Cons

Very generic and companies using it simply appear to be using only a portion of overall functionality as it is difficult to set up.
