Pros

Easy of cloud setup, and hands off functionality. The fact I don't Administrate it on a regular basis.

Cons

When things break in the environment and clearing a cache won't fix the issue we're waiting for a new release to fix the bug.

SugarCSM is keeps leads and accounts organized, and does the job, but many times feels clunky.

Pros

I used Sugar to keep track of leads and active accounts. I liked that when viewing leads, there were mantydata fields that were displayed on one page, making viewing many details easy.

Cons

I felt it was tedious to go through the process of logging a call. The account page layout also was a bit more difficult to decipher if a lead was being actively pursued and if the notes were aligned with real progress.

I like the user interface but I think the admin is clunky. Newer CRMs provide more single screen administration options and modifications. Additionally, my team is on the newest version of Windows/Office and we can utilize a plugin... which stinks. The report functionality and the inability to export complex reports in any other format than PDFs is disappointing. The way that all sales data is based on Periods makes creating any usable Year over Year very challenging. I haven't figured it out yet. We chose Sugar due to existing integration options with Sage100. While the integration was fairly smooth, I have daily around the data exchange.... which is frustrating.

I have used SugarCRM during seven months and it was my first contact with a CRM. I used it to keep track of communication to customers and assigned tasks to the help desk. The software is pretty self-explanatory, however it offers a huge amount of features that I didn´t use. Which doesn´t mean that they were not useful it was just that I didn´t need it. The Email integration is a very useful feature, however what I found confusing sometimes was the order how the system tracks the email conversation.

Very robust, many features

Cons

Interface doesn´t look very attractive. Tracket conversations could be a little bit better organized

Pros

It's very affordable and it's ability to have customizations is really helpful. There are a lot of hidden features that can be useful, but are hard to figure out if you are new to using a CRM.

Cons

I tried out this CRM to replace our old one, but it isn't nearly as efficient as some bigger names out there. It was frustrating that there wasn't any possible way to mass convert my leads. After talking with customer service and learning that you must convert each individual lead, that was the end of the road for me.

Pros

I enjoy the easy to use interface, the intuitive workflow design, and the trees of features. Help and support is also top notch. Cost is very good.

Cons

I wish there were some more licenses that came with each purchase. It doesn't always cleanly interface with other software but is good most of the time.

This software in not made for my business line and therefore is not working for us. Also we have had a very poor experience with the reporting capabilities. The fact that reports can not be exported to excel in a usable fashion or even have the paper size the print to adjusted has made this completely unusable. We have spoken to many people at Sugar about this and although we have been told that this is an issue that has been raided by many it is not something that they are looking to fix. The interface is clunky and not user friendly and the search capabilities are not intuitive.

It allows my team to organize all interactions with clients and potential clients and also inspires teamwork with it's use.

Pros

It seems to work well with plugins and also has a ease of use about it that makes even the most novice of CRM users comfortable with inputting information. Everything is stored in a way that makes sense from a design perspective.

Cons

Nothing to dislike when considering all the options.

Like any software, the more you use it, the easier it becomes to navigate. I think the time it takes to become proficient in a software is a good indicator of how easy it is to use. I used SugarCRM for 6 months and never got the hang of it. As a manager, it was important to be able to run reports, but the way they have it set up, it is very difficult. The support person basically asked what we wanted and then she did it. Great support, but I might need data faster than having to wait for her to construct the search parameters.

Pros

It's Easy to learn and use; you can train users in less than a day. There are collaboration tools, which encourage team communication. The dashboards are great; you hardly need reports. It's also very cost effective. The support is solid, responsive, and knowledgeable.

Cons

Generally speaking, there's nothing to seriously complain about. My only suggestion is that the SugarCRM Website could be easier to navigate.

We tried using this for months to track a specific product line and to manage our leads and contact information. That product line went away and so did the regular use of this product. We have it as a "back up" for our next test product line, but I'm not sure this is the best choice for us.

Pros

I got the software because it was free. That's always a good thing. At first glance, it seemed like it would be easy to use and an inexpensive fix to a client tracking problem in a new division.

Cons

Difficult to navigate and figure out how it worked. There was no customer service to call on and google searches for fixes proved fruitless. (this may be because we had the free version but if you want to sell me on a product and get me to upgrade, I need to be able to use it)

We have been using Sugar for approx three years. We moved from a less capable system but are finding Sugar to be annoying to use and too expensive. Plus, they require payment in advance and you do not get any credit if one of your employees leaves and you aren't using all of the licenses. We are looking to move to another software.

Captures all emails - even if you enter email address AFTER you have sent an email

Pros

It was an affordable CRM. Also they had great API's so you could develop your own tools to interface with SQL or other CRMs. They we're constantly developing new features.

Cons

The features we needed today were always promised for tomorrow. After waiting a year for a key feature, we eventually had to swap to another CRM. Fortunately Sugar made it easy to interface the two CRM's and migrate the data.
