Pros This is the easiest program i have ever used! We have Optecs Signage for our outdoor screens, they are complicated, not very user friendly. Pros The setup of the devices is very easy. I also like that my users are able to create content without having to take a all day class to understand how to do it. Lots of add-ins and able to scale to your needs. Cons I wish we had better options for the RSS feeds but that is pretty minor. The editor is easy to use, import images, and branding. The overall learning curve is low!!!! You do not need to be a graphic artist to use this software. We mix in funny YouTube videos to capture attention and mix in our specials and promotions in. Works great, helps upsell and get the word out on events. Pros Easy to use. Clouded based. Value for price. Cons Not really I con as much as a request. Would love to have an option for our guests to be able post their selfies on our screen with the use of a #hashtag. October 8, 2019 4.0 It's been a great way to keep our members engaged with events happening in the club or to promote a new class. Pros It's great for multiple locations - from one spot I can upload various marketing messages, designate which device to send to and have it load for different locations. I can customize the length of time the message is on the screen and even upload video. Cons The software does sometimes stall out - you need to have a strong internet connection. Pros Premade templates were handy - making it easy to use some of the functions while still allowing us to customize Cons Making slides within Screenscape can sometimes be finicky and we often find ourselves making the slide using Powerpoint which offers more font and colour options, saving it as an image, and then importing into the program. Wish it would be easier to update our daily, weekly calendar without having to create an image of the calendar all of the time. Pros I able to update the monitors fairly quickly as long as they stay connected to the internet. Cons Creating pages is a bit clunky. Wish there was a better calendaring feature. Pros Ease of use and good selection of media types that are able to be used. Cons Being able to synchronize the displays, TV's are in an awkward place to access so when device needs a hard reset it is difficult to access. In the year we have had them have only had to reset a couple of times. Reason for choosing Screenscape Service - I remember when we were going through purchasing these devices, ScreenScape by far had the best sales staff to answer our questions and accommodate our buying process. Pros The price is very affordable and easy to set up. Cons I have to consistently reset the hardware. This is extremely inconvenient when I need to get out a ladder every time. Pros I was looking for alternative marketing ideas when I came across ScreenScape as a means of turning a monitor into a messaging board. The software was trialed before they sold to Spectrio so not sure what it will become, but was a handy little programme to get decent marketing up. Cons Little limited in its ability to process large .JPG files as it was a free trial, but reduce the size of the graphics files allowed it to be loaded and run. The maximum file size for an image upload is 12MB. The maximum file size for a video upload is 500MB. Always answering any inquiries I had and getting back to me promptly Pros I like that the system is very reliable. Very little downtime at all and it the display output is very high quality.
