### "All ad agencies are NOT the same!"

I used to say that all agencies were about the same, based on my experience over the last several years. They are NOT. We were at the point of bringing our Google ads in house and doing it ourselves when I got a call from Quartile, and in the spirit of due diligence I gave them 30 minutes to show us what they have. Honestly, I was blown away. Their audit of our campaigns was spot on, and their recommendations (which were ours to use freely, if we wanted) made sense. The best part is, their fee is less than we were paying our previous agency. Their people are super smart from onboarding to account management. They have answers to hard questions (none of that "I'll look into that and get back to you"), and they explain their reasons for making changes to our campaigns in language that is easy to understand. With all of the uncertainty in today's marketplace, I'm really glad we decided to partner with Quartile. I cannot recommend them enough.

Pros

All agencies make claims (improved performance, better ROAS, etc.). Quartile is the only agency I've used that has actually delivered. They've done everything they said they would and the results speak for themselves. Our Google ad spend is down and our ROAS is higher than it has ever been.

Cons

I wish we would have found them sooner. Seriously, I can't think of a single thing that has not exceeded expectations, but if I have to come up with one thing, I don't recall being told that our initial account manager was only going to work with us from onboarding through the first 3 months (what they call a "probationary period").

Cons

Would be good to have a better UI to use within quartile. A UI which can help an end-user understand what type of spending and optimizations work more effeciently with the account.

Overall, we’re very satisfied with the partnership with Quartile and the results we’ve achieved so far.

Pros

We had a hard time finding a partner who truly understood how Amazon works in the U.S. and had solid expertise in Amazon Ads for that market. We were quite frustrated until we found Quartile, and they exceeded our expectations. Our account has seen consistent and significant growth,we are always one of the best sellers of our category. We’d also like to highlight the support from Luis, our account manager. He is always quick to reply and truly committed to helping us reach our goals. His close follow-up makes a real difference.

Cons

The dashboard could show exact numbers instead of rounding them to the nearest hundred, this would help with more detailed analysis. We missed support with promotional actions (like Promotions, Deals and Brand Tailored Promotions), but we were happy to hear in our most recent weekly meeting that this is now included in their scope so let's see how it will work.

### "So far it's been worth it"

Pros

Affordable and easy on-boarding process. No contracts and no fluff. They focus on solely running and optimizing ads with good data, while we can get creatives put together in house for them to use in advertising. We have saved a lot doing it this way, compared to the past when we hired an "all-in-one" agency that also did creatives.

Cons

Wish we could have someone that works in the back-end of Amazon. We would even pay extra to have an "Amazon Account Manager". Amazon back-end is super complicated and problems arise all the time. As of right now, we still have to launch any promos on our end, then inform Quartile we are ready to run the ads for the campaign.

Positive experience overall. We've had some months where we've underperformed but they generally try to do the right thing and keep you happy as a customer.

Pros

Good service and generally good attention to the accounts they serve. Their algorithm can be very powerful. They are very accessible if you have any issues with your account, will always try to please clients.

Cons

Their algorithm isn't always easy to understand. They do a decent to good job with Amazon sponsored products ads and display ads, but not with sponsored brands ads, as they don't have a way to create those in an automated fashion. Also their bids for these don't always make sense. I wish they had a better way to select and autopopulate good keywords into the sponsored brands ads, this would be a key improvement (all types of sponsored brands ads, those going to stores, sponsored brand video, etc.).

Overall it's been really good, they've helped us through some difficult sale periods and helped us with many custom campaigns.

Pros

Account Manager has been on our account for a year and a half without any personnel changes. He's always responsive and willing to go the extra mile for our requests.

Cons

Quartile's AI system can be a bit rigid in terms of how campaigns are built. I wish there were more levers that humans could pull to modify the way they're built, especially where it's weak with negatives.

The Quartile team was great from start to finish. They were not overly pushy from the first sales call, and listened to what our business needed at the time. Then once we decided to partner with Quartile to run our Google Ads, things really took off. Great communication from the strategy and operations team to help get us rolling, and after a few weeks, we really saw conversions and revenue increase from Google Ads. We are very pleased with how the first few months have gone, and looking forward to many successful months working together.
