As a book shop we have thousands of products. The ease of combining the in store retail POS with the online POS is so important. With other systems I essentially had to double job all the time to make sure the products were correct on the website but with this it is very easy.

Pros

The system works and is easy to get the hang of. If there is a problem or issue the team are super responsive and welcome suggestions.

Cons

There is always room for improvement with any system but the staff are very receptive to suggestions.

I found the staff very helpful at Shoptill-e. For me the ability to speak to an actual person is hugely important. Also the POS/website integration is great

### "Our First Year Using ShopTill-e"

Overall, ShopTill-e has been an extremely positive move for us, and we’re pleased we chose it. The core functions are strong, it’s staff-friendly, the website and EPOS talk to each other reliably, and the support has been excellent throughout. The system already does a lot very well, and for small to medium independents wanting EPOS + back office + online sales under one roof, it’s a solid, sensible choice. Once the VAT issue is resolved and more reporting options are introduced, ShopTill-e will go from very good to outstanding. I’m confident these developments will come in time. We would happily recommend it to other retailers looking for a joined-up, easy-to-use system with genuinely good support behind it.

Pros

We’ve been using ShopTill-e for just over a year across EPOS, back office and online sales, and there is a lot to like. The biggest strengths for us are: • The integrated system: Having the EPOS, website and stock all linked together has been a huge benefit. It means our online and in-store inventory stay aligned, promotions flow through easily, and we don’t have to juggle multiple platforms. • Ease of use: Once you’ve had a quick explore, most day-to-day tasks are really straightforward. Product setup, website updates, stock adjustments and running the till are all intuitive. Staff picked it up very quickly. • The card merchant connection: \[sensitive content hidden\] put us in touch with an excellent card merchant, and the integration works smoothly with the till, which has made life much easier. • Customer support: \[sensitive content hidden\] has been consistently responsive, helpful, and patient. He extended our trial period without hesitation and genuinely wants the system to work well for his clients. • Reliable core functions: The EPOS itself is clean and stable, the website sync is dependable, and the layout in the back office is logical once you’re familiar with it.

Cons

There are a few areas that could be strengthened to make the system even better: • Reporting limitations: We would love more advanced reporting — deeper sell-through analysis, product performance by filters, multi-brand comparisons, seasonal metrics, and more export options for accounting or KPI work. • VAT calculation issues: The biggest current challenge is that our VAT is still being calculated incorrectly within the system reports. Because of this, we can’t rely on those figures for our accounts and have to manually check everything. \[sensitive content hidden\] is aware and has been looking into it, but it’s ongoing. • Accounting integration: We would like to connect our accounting software directly to ShopTill-e, but until the VAT calculations are accurate, that isn’t possible for us.

Clover was great but too limited for fashion retail. Reporting was basic, stock management lacked depth, and it just didn’t scale with the size/variant complexity we deal with. Epos Now wasn't a good experience. Support was inconsistent, charges kept appearing, and the whole system felt clunky and hard to rely on. The sign-up experience and the day-to-day reality didn’t match. We chose ShopTill-e because we needed something transparent, dependable, and genuinely built for retail with solid stock control and an integrated website. ShopTill-e gave us that without the stress or limitations of the previous systems.

Easy to use, good value and our online sales have steadily increased since implementing Shoptill-e

Pros

Having full integration between our instore stock management and online sales has made setting our webstore up fairly quick and the upkeep requires very little work on our end. The major pro for us is the great support we've had from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] who has been able to guide us through setup of both the online store and our ePOS systems in store. Whenever there has been an issue or problem that we've come across \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has been very quick to help us solve the problem and/or come up with good work-arounds to fit our needs.

Cons

We have found that the supplier/Purchase Order side of the back office could do with also showing the current stock of a product as this would make making restock purchases a lot quicker.

From day one, i have always found them to be amazingly helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble and they're always on hand to chat you through things if you need help. I can't recommend them enough, they're honestly one of the best companies we have ever dealt with.

Pros

The front end till system is easy to use for our store staff and the back end epos system is the easiest and best system i have worked with in 25 years of retail, because this seamlessly links with our websites, it has made our life so much easier than our previous system.

Cons

This system fits our business perfectly so there is literally nothing i would change, the ongoing improvements seem to be one step ahead of us and keep offering more for our money.

The ShopTill-e team could not be more helpful from the demo on day one.

Pros

We switched from our current seperated POS and website supplier to Shoptill-e due to issues of integration between the two different suppliers. With shoptill-e the one system does both saves lots of hours and lots of headaches! Small features which include gift vouchers automatically being used in store and on line, as well as one place for all inventory and reporting is a game changer. No more paying multiple subscriptions to multiple software supliers, by making the switch we save hundreds a month.

Cons

Haven't found any yet. Any request we have suggested for anything have simply been implented for us.

When I was first introduced to ShopTill-e I was amazed what I was being offered for the price, having used much larger organisations in the past with a large price tag to match it was a breath of fresh air finding this new package.

I’m more than happy with the features built into the software, the complete package meets my criteria perfectly.

This system can do so much for your business and makes a huge impact on moving your business forward. The team at Shoptill-e are so helpful, nothing is a problem and they deal with queries and questions quickly.

Pros

We like everything about this software! It is easy to use, has alot of functionality and a very helpful and friendly support team.

Cons

When we first started using this system there were a few little thing which this system didn't do but after talking to the team they soon personalised and added the features for us.

ShopTill-E just sits perfectly inside our business, by providing centralised product management, pricing and stock for online and office based telephone orders. Its simplicity allowed us to grant access to all staff, removing barriers, which streamlined our processing of orders. The real value (in part unexpected) was the boost to online sales and our brand by reaching page 1 of many search engines. We didn't plan for this, or even take any specific steps to achieve, ShopTill-E just did a brilliant job of boosting our ranking from the outset.

Pros

Beyond the powerful features of ShopTill-E which is very simple to understand and navigate, the SEO meant our website hit page 1 of Google and other search engines very quickly. This resulted in increased revenue and stronger brand awareness without any additional effort.

Cons

We have complex pricing rules for certain partners with volume discounts which ShopTill-e was 95% of the way there. But we are yet to find a solution that goes the full 100%, so not really a failing.

### "My first venture into ePOS"

Pros

I followed a recommendation to ShopTill-e and haven't looked back. The initial hand holding was good and the system is intuitive once you get started. When I got stuck, and I did, the helpline got me back on track easily and quickly. I soon figured out how I wanted to set up the system.Both ePOS and online shops operate from the same data base helping to eliminate double selling.

Cons

As my stock items changed, there was a tendency for old products to build up in the database. the "Stock Management" section could do with a delete product button. Sometimes the helpline is needed to deal with this.

### "ShopTill-e Should Be Called "All In One""

What can I say? I wish I had come across this package from ShopTill-e when I 1st looked into integrating my bricks & mortar store into the digital age. It would of saved me a lot of time, financial waste and most of all the stress that comes with setting up this type of system. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] & the team at ShopTill-e are available at the end of the phone which is so refreshing. Nothing is to much for the team and as of yet I have not been told its not possible.

Pros

Where do I start, it does everything written on the label. Inventory, Epos, Website and options to plug into 3rd party platforms & probably a lot more I have not discovered yet. Detailed Demonstration and the easiest listing tools I have come across made the initial start up process simple. The system has been running for a number of months now and no issues due to the software. Any issues were caused by staff and with the help of support were sorted quickly.

Cons

Honestly, could not fault it. A couple of things that were specific to our business needs, but even those had a work around. Those work arounds are now being looked at in detail to possibly become integrated into the software. What more could you ask for?

Fantastic, the switch has been great and I look forward to working with ShopTill-e as our business grows and moves forward.

Pros

The POS is simple and easy to use, the website side has all the basics and easy to get going. The real draw here is the seamless stock sync between in-store and online, especially if like we do your online and in-store share the same inventory. The price for this all in one system is unbelievably great value. The support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and team has been great.

Cons

The lack of some features on the website side and having to contact support to make little changes is a slight drawback, and the websites don't look quiet as polished as you may get from other site builders.

The software is very easy to use and EPOS and website function well, It is easy to add product and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is always on hand if there is a problem. It is very economical to operate and the added bonus is when you add to EPOS system it is also the website. We looked at other alternatives which were many thousands but not really much different.

We dont really dislike anything! It does everything that we require.

Pros

We were looking for a simple till system to use for our small bike shop This is great as its very simple to upload products, amend them, copy them and sell them.

Cons

I would like to see a misc product we could change the title of the product - this is handy to have a generic code and change the name When you put 2 items in the basket of the same name/SKU it add's it together - I often want to sell 1 item at full price and 1 at half price, this puts them together so it cannot be done
