It offers numerous features that can assist solo practitioners in expanding their practice, such as accessing products, equipment, and materials at significantly reduced prices. It also provides support for various aspects of implant office management, including patient care, treatment planning, education, and many more. Furthermore, the app is regularly updated with new and improved applications and products, making it even more valuable for users. Cons The fact that it was not released sooner Alternatives considered [Dentrix](https://www.capterra.com/p/2329/Dentrix/) Reason for choosing Novadontics Novadontics was clearly better than any other competitor product including Dentrix. It has allowed me to practice effectively Pros I am a DABOI dentist. The CE programs and courses helped me prepare for my diplomat. Cons Some vendors that I really liked are not on the app sometimes. Pros Novadontics is a TRUE all-in-one platform for general and implant dentists. With Novadontcs I do not need any other subscriptions. I love the practice management part, the patient engagement features, the practice growth features, the marketplace where I save hundreds of dollars a month , and the online continuing education module. Novadontics is really in a category of its own. Nothing comes close. I love how the entire platform is available on my iPad. Cons No downsides to report. Owner/Doctor Medical Practice Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Review of the Novadontics App/software" September 28, 2022 5.0 Exceptional and with great support and new and useful additions to the software which just keep coming Pros After using the Novadontics software for more than 5 years in private dental practice I have found it to be not only a valuable practice management tool as well as a great way to get price breaks on supplies but it includes useful CE information. Our office has been able to incorporate advantages and efficiencies of the practice management modules including Patient bill pay, integrated eClaims, eRx and more. Through the use these modules our office has experienced a reduction in time and the costs of doing business significantly. In addition we have made use of the numerous implant related aspects of the Novadontics app. Such as the log books documenting the number and type of implants and bone grafts placed. Needless to say the Smile design module has been a practice builder as well as a time saver for case planning. Lastly the continuing ed section is a great tool both for education and which can be used to plan and improve methods on complex cases. This software is 100% cloud based so no servers or backup issues to worry about. Also the full version is available on IPad so I can manage the practice from a distance which means I spend less time at the office. The best part is that the expense has been negligible compared to these great benefits. The software tracks the entirety of our general and implant business far better than any other platform available, and it is only getting better! Additionally, I have used it for several years as a document repository for patient education, consent forms, and procedural guidance. I have also used Novadontics with great effect in educational settings for tx planning sessions. Patient information, including CBCT scans, are all available in one portable place, thanks to its cloud-based functionality. I highly recommend Novadontics to colleagues who want to take their implant practice to the next level. Cons No specific cons to list. I use Novadonitcs regularly and appreciate its portability and cross-platform usage.
