Pros
The layout is simple to follow and the information provided is excellent. The App is very easy to use and its a great tool to know where your assets are at all times.
Service schedules are the best for our fleet and tom Raes is a very good trainer and understands the customers needs.
The alerts and reports is what we built our service department around. The CAN data is worth the cost of the product , our machine run better and longer thanks to this awesome product.
The real benefit though is that they are still looking forward, we are just scratching the surface of what telematics can do for us and are excited about what the future will bring.
Cons
The tracker had been fitted so badly every time it rains water gets into the connections and shorts out a resister that has been taped up with insolation tape terrible unprofessional job.
Absolutely useless do not use this company. The tracker hasn't worked properly since it was fitted.
I spent months trying to ring up to cancel the contract. No one ever answer the phone.
I dont lite when the battery is low. I thought the batteri will hold for a longer time.

"The people make the product great"
Overall: Working with Trackunit for over 3 years, it’s a great product but the people are what make this product shine

Cons: I need more REPORTS!!! The reports are fantastic but I would like to get my CAN data in a report and just a few other ones as well
"classic manager"
Pros: the classic manger was easy to overview the fleet and see changes or movements
Cons: the new features are giving more options, but i still need the complete overview with movement or active icoons and thats only with classic manager

Overall: Absolutely useless do not use this company. The tracker hasn't worked properly since it was fitted. If the machine had not been used for more than two days it flattened the battery, after months of trying customer services they said to change a setting in the app, that didn't help. I spent months trying to ring up to cancel the contract. No one ever answer the phone. You can press 1 for someone to ring you back THEY DON'T. The only way to speak to someone is if you press the number to buy a new contract. After all that I managed to cancel the contact on the 28th of the month and they decided to charge for the whole of the next month. And if I didn't pay they were going to send a debt collection agency. Total waste of time and money I wish I had never let them near my machine.

Overall: We started with trackunit to invoice overtime to customers but 6 years later it became more of a service tool to help out customers. See basic errors, see usage, database for working hours, location. We merged the Trackunit data in our own platform as well to give our customers the best customer experience.
Pros: Trackunit has a perfect tool to monitor our machines all around the world. It saves our drivers and mechanics a lot of time to find machines on a jobsite and we have more insights because of the reports from the system.
Cons: There is so much data available that we can do a lot more with it but development costs a lot of time and extra money. We are not using the system optimal yet.

Pros: We are able to monitor usage and location of all fleet items fitted with Trackunit. We are also able to restrict access to only set users through the keypad feature.
