Pros

  • The layout is simple to follow and the information provided is excellent. The App is very easy to use and its a great tool to know where your assets are at all times.

  • Service schedules are the best for our fleet and tom Raes is a very good trainer and understands the customers needs.

  • The alerts and reports is what we built our service department around. The CAN data is worth the cost of the product , our machine run better and longer thanks to this awesome product.

  • The real benefit though is that they are still looking forward, we are just scratching the surface of what telematics can do for us and are excited about what the future will bring.

Cons

  • The tracker had been fitted so badly every time it rains water gets into the connections and shorts out a resister that has been taped up with insolation tape terrible unprofessional job.

  • Absolutely useless do not use this company. The tracker hasn't worked properly since it was fitted.

  • I spent months trying to ring up to cancel the contract. No one ever answer the phone.

  • I dont lite when the battery is low. I thought the batteri will hold for a longer time.

"The people make the product great"

Overall: Working with Trackunit for over 3 years, it’s a great product but the people are what make this product shine

Pros: The alerts and reports is what we built our service department around. The CAN data is worth the cost of the product , our machine run better and longer thanks to this awesome product

Cons: I need more REPORTS!!! The reports are fantastic but I would like to get my CAN data in a report and just a few other ones as well

Alternatives Considered: ONE i3 and Geotab

"classic manager"

Pros: the classic manger was easy to overview the fleet and see changes or movements

Cons: the new features are giving more options, but i still need the complete overview with movement or active icoons and thats only with classic manager

"Expensive waste of time "

Overall: Absolutely useless do not use this company. The tracker hasn't worked properly since it was fitted. If the machine had not been used for more than two days it flattened the battery, after months of trying customer services they said to change a setting in the app, that didn't help. The tracker had been fitted so badly every time it rains water gets into the connections and shorts out a resister that has been taped up with insolation tape terrible unprofessional job. I spent months trying to ring up to cancel the contract. No one ever answer the phone. You can press 1 for someone to ring you back THEY DON'T. The only way to speak to someone is if you press the number to buy a new contract. After all that I managed to cancel the contact on the 28th of the month and they decided to charge for the whole of the next month. And if I didn't pay they were going to send a debt collection agency. Total waste of time and money I wish I had never let them near my machine.

Pros: There isn't any pros to this company or this system

Cons: Badly fitted Flattens the battery No one answers the phone or rings back

"Allround machine monitor "

Overall: We started with trackunit to invoice overtime to customers but 6 years later it became more of a service tool to help out customers. See basic errors, see usage, database for working hours, location. We merged the Trackunit data in our own platform as well to give our customers the best customer experience.

Pros: Trackunit has a perfect tool to monitor our machines all around the world. It saves our drivers and mechanics a lot of time to find machines on a jobsite and we have more insights because of the reports from the system.

Cons: There is so much data available that we can do a lot more with it but development costs a lot of time and extra money. We are not using the system optimal yet.

Alternatives Considered: Clear Sky Software and ONE i3
Reasons for Choosing Trackunit: We have them both but majority is trackunit, because it just works fine.

"The Absolute Best in Off Highway Telematics"

Pros: Trackunit provides the best data, reporting, and visibility of any provider out there. The real benefit though is that they are still looking forward, we are just scratching the surface of what telematics can do for us and are excited about what the future will bring.

Cons: The been a few hiccups in getting transitioned from the the classic manager app to the new manager app but nothing major.

Alternatives Considered: Verizon Connect, GPS Trackit, GoldStar , Motive GPS and Samsara
Reasons for Choosing Trackunit: Trackunit is the best all around solution for off highway use and they're the only company that is aggressively pushing forward to come up with new and better solutions.

"Scantruck"

Overall: The support center is very help full.

Pros: That we can use it fore ours Fitter, Service, Technical and Rental departments.

Cons: Need 1 page that shows all the data on the licens. All the acounts can be open togetter

"Lot of features, High quality product "

Pros: Easy to use and easy to create reports. Good quality. Very rare that it is any malfunctions

Cons: Two different UI´s on the same plattform. Many old Trackunit user like classic UI better

"top of the line "

Overall: Trackunit has been a greate help in our rental buisness for tracking and managing our fleet

Pros: easy to use grate softwhere good add on the new kin trackers for tracking and manage the smaller machines

Cons: haven't found anything that i don't like

"Power Products"

Overall: Very good , a forward thinking company with good customer service and tech support.

Pros: The dash board is easy and clear to navigate. the go app is good for my external engineers but need a bit more developing.

Cons: Lack of asset specific reporting which would need to include environmental impact. Service module to allow the creation of digital work sheet with spares reconciliation.

"Andrew Shillam CP Hire (GB) Ltd"

Overall: Trackunit are great to work with, we have a strong relationship with our account Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT] who is always available to us on the end of the phone.

Pros: We are able to monitor usage and location of all fleet items fitted with Trackunit. We are also able to restrict access to only set users through the keypad feature.

Cons: There are no features that i dislike on the platform.

"not sure what you mean ?"

Overall: service schedules are the best for our fleet and tom Raes is a very good trainer and understands the customers needs.

Pros: the service schedules can be set up and can get a warning prior.

Cons: deploying a technician from Trackunit having to fill out a form when I have sent all the details in the 1st place to technical support

"Innovative Company"

Overall: My overall Experience has been Good.

Pros: I found have Both manger and apps are easy to use

Cons: When printing a service list the highlighted assets on manger do not print out i have to highlight them my self in excel.

"Good product."

Overall: Never want go back to the time before Trackunit.

"Control the fleet"

Pros: International coverage CAN BUS funtions Easy to install

Cons: Page not easy to user Data between classic an iris version sometimes not the same

"Trackunit"

Overall: Great customer support across the board

Pros: I like the mapping functions, particularly in relation to seeing other nearby units in addition to the unit of primary interest. I like the CAN telematics for pre-diagnosis on equipment.

Cons: I am eagerly awaiting for completely customizable reports. I have very specific interests and would like a way to create highly specific reports and alarms.
