Pros Smart Citations feature: is absolutely revolutionary, at least for me imo. Super easy to use and seamlessly integrated into my research routine. Plus, the parity pricing for users in Indonesia (in my use case) is a fantastic touch – quality at a fraction of the cost! Cons Scite is mostly smooth sailing, I did wish they had a feature to directly compare multiple papers side by side. Also, an interactive tutorial or walkthrough for complete beginner, first-time users in the main page would be a cherry on top. Pros At last, I've discovered a tool that has significantly streamlined my work processes. This tool not only aids me in organizing my resources but also enables me to search for new articles efficiently. Its capabilities surpass databases such as NCBI, ScienceDirect, or Web of Knowledge in locating the precise references I require. The truly impressive feature is its ability to import saved references from Zotero and Mendeley. This discovery was a delightful surprise for me. Moreover, utilizing scite to read articles has saved me days of sifting through less relevant material. Cons While Scite's utility is undeniable, the cost may seem substantial if you're not using it frequently. In such cases, you might find free alternatives like Elicit to be satisfactory. While Mendeley has its limitations and I've been considering a replacement, Scite does not yet provide integration with my online LaTeX editor, Overleaf. Therefore, I find it necessary to continue using both tools for the time being.
