The system created tenant confusion, collection risk, and significant additional work for our accounting and property-management teams. Support responses were often delayed, incomplete, or inconsistent, and routine issues required repeated emails and escalation. We ultimately discontinued the service because it created more administrative burden than value. I am sharing this review so other commercial property managers, accountants, and asset managers can carefully evaluate system accuracy, support quality, billing practices, and termination procedures before selecting the product. Pros The platform’s intended purpose—providing tenants with an online payment option—was useful in concept. Unfortunately, the execution and support did not meet our operational needs. Cons We experienced unreliable account information, poor tenant and administrator support, delayed responses, unclear ownership of issues, and repeated difficulty resolving basic operational problems. On at least one occasion, a tenant saw a zero balance even though our accounting records showed more than $4,300 due. The termination process also required repeated follow-up despite prior written and verbal notice. Pros RentPayment is an easy to use, easy to administer, solution for automating receivable payment processing. Cons The reporting features of the tool could be a little better and easier to use. Terribly bad! Pros We used this service in the past for payment processing. Cons Customer service - we no longer use this payment processing and when we asked to cancel they told us it was 180 days to cancel or over $1,000 for a $19/month service. We gave our 180 days notice in writing, but 2 months later, they are saying we did not, even though we have proof via email. Overall it is a big time saver being able to have tenants pay electronically, saves making a trip to the bank as well. Pros The ability for tenants to submit payments electronically. Cons I would like to see the reports more user friendly, easier to navigate. They're not cumbersome, but not necessarily easy to get/find what I'm looking for either.
