We have Active Directory on a Microsoft 2019 Server, On-Premise Exchange 2013, and a 2019 Terminal Server/RDS Farm. In addition we have an SQL Server running specific apps all behind a Fortinet Firewall. Our goal was to lock this environment with a good MFA solution and Authlogics accomplished that. Pros We reviewed several of MFA products like OneLogin, Duo, Okta , and others. Authlogics was the one of the few to offer a proof of concept which let us try it before we buy it. The amazing part was while other companies were quoting a minimum of 40-80 hours of professional services, we had this up in running in less than 90 minutes. Support was excellent and documentation very well written. Cons Integrating this to our on-premise active directory was very straight forward. Adding our on-premise exchange and rdp farm was very straight forward as well. The challenge with any MFA is planning the roll out so that users understand the process. Authlogics offers user documentation to help with that which is great, however user preparedness and transition is always a challenge with any change. Duo was a bit more reasonable and probably could have done the job well, but ultimately the personalized support and reasonable pricing from Authlogics won out. In about an hour we had it up and running. I received implementation quotes from other MFA products that where 40 to 100 hours implementation. Support has been amazing. Cons At this point it’s really serving our needs very well so I don’t see any short comings from our standpoint Reasons for choosing Authlogics MFA The offered to do a trial setup at no cost and within the hour with had implemented and working. See how easy it was and how well it worked was the proof we needed. OneLogin was nearly triple the cost and had limitations, Okta fell short we felt dealing with our RDP farm, Duo looked like it could do the job but still involved 40 hours of implementation. It’s hard to say no to a product that proved itself right before your eyes.
