I would consider this an essential tool for good practice management. We are a specialist practice (not faced with accreditation) and this tool helps me to manage the business in a more structured and consistent manner

Pros

This is an excellent tool.- It has helped us better manage our business risk and compliance. Policies and procedures are accessible and easily updated. Equipnment registers are organised and acurately track all equipment purchases and maintenance

Cons

There is a steep learning curve. If you are not a GP practice then setup and customisation can take quite a period of time.

PracticeHub is the reason we passed our last round of accreditation with flying colours and as I signed up last month to do out next round I felt completely at ease that this time around will be just as succesful. As a practice manager I always felt like my head was just above water but since PracticeHub I finally feel like I am on top of things and now even have time for marketing and practice development. It has taken all the pressure off me and given me the confidence to successfully streamline our business operations. I highly recommend PracticeHub to all Practice Managers and yes it does cost but it is definitely worth it!

Pros

PracticeHub has everything in the one place, connecting all your policies, procedures, documents and even required training in a way that is easy to understand and utilise. They keep you up-to-date with all the current legislation and any necessary changes that need to be made which saves me time, energy and money. Their support team is second to none.

Cons

The system does take time to learn and won't do anything for your practice if you don't set time aside to use it. The only suggestion I could make is sometimes I can't figure out exactly where a new policy or procedure should go and any input/tips/suggestions/guides would be great.... but that is a reflection of the complexity of the standards and not PracticeHub itself.
