Visdum has turned our commission process into a dependable, largely hands-off workflow. Closing payroll is less stressful, disputes have dropped sharply, and everyone trusts the numbers on their dashboard.

Pros

Visdum replaces complicated spreadsheets with automated, real-time dashboards that calculate commissions accurately and show each rep exactly where they stand. Implementation was quick, and the interface is clean enough that even non-technical colleagues were comfortable within a few sessions. Support responses are fast and genuinely helpful, and the integrations with our CRM and e-signature tools work smoothly.

Cons

The analytics section could go deeper; detailed drill-downs still require an export, and the web app can pause briefly when a large batch of data refreshes.

Visdum puts real-time pay stats right at my team's fingertips. This lets me actively track sales goals and stay on top of performance. Having the numbers visible 24/7 keeps me way more motivated too.

Pros

Visdum packs a ton of capability into commission tracking but without any learning curve or complexity. As sales director, I'm able to quickly pull the key data I need to motivate the team and forecast earnings. Just a couple months after rolling out Visdum, my reps had fully adopted it thanks to the intuitive and straightforward interface. Now I frequently send out messages and updates directly through Visdum where the team engages daily to check their real-time commissions. It's all neatly integrated and synced across desktop and mobile. Most importantly, the platform, reporting, and payout details are 100% accurate, which builds huge trust with sales teams.

Cons

So far, I don’t have any negatives to point out in the product. The platform meets most of my requirements as a sales leader.

Implementing Visdum has streamlined our processes, significantly reducing the time required for processing payouts and communicating statements to the sales team. Overall, it has been a positive experience. Why did you choose Visdum over these alternative products? Visdum seemed the easiest to manage for all stakeholders across the board - leaders, reps, and the operations team.

Pros

Visdum integrates with Salesforce CRM, ensuring a smooth flow of data between the two systems. The process of modeling compensation plans and troubleshooting any issues with calculation logic is designed to be relatively straightforward, allowing for efficient management and adjustments to the compensation structure.

Cons

The platform has a host of functionalities but not enough help articles on how to use them all. The support team is extremely helpful in helping us figure things out but, having a knowledge base can save everyone more time.

The platform helps with timely and accurate commission payouts and faster dispute resolution time. The integration with CRM is super helpful as we no longer need to juggle multiple spreadsheets to calculate or distribute commission statements. Computations within Visdum are automated because the platform directly fetches data from the CRM, and each sales rep has his/her own individual dashboard from where they can login and access their commission statements.

Pros

Adaptability - Modeling complex plans in Visdum is simple. It mostly works the same way an excel spreadsheet would so there's no complicated tech to understand for our team. Plus, the support team is helpful in giving us suggestions to implement our plans or making adjustments, if need be. Compliance standards - Visdum helps us automate ASC 606 commission amortization. Simplicity for Admins/Finance teams - As an admin, Visdum is really simple to use. Reporting dashboards with flexibility to customize is a huge bonus. Approvals and dispute resolution within the platform is efficient.

Cons

No cons but I'd say that there could be a slight learning curve initially.

With Visdum, I always know what I am working towards and can ensure fair compensation. I can log in anytime to track my commissions, understand the factors influencing my earnings, and identify what actions I need to prioritize to achieve my targets. This visibility and clarity provided by Visdum significantly enhance my ability to monitor my progress and focus on achieving my goals effectively.

Excellent user interface Salesforce CRM integration Real-time data processing Pipeline Estimator & quick dispute resolution Our Customer Success Manager (CSM) as been incredibly supportive.

Cons

There's not much to dislike. Initially understanding how to go about using the platform was a bit challenging but once our CSM onboarded us fully, this issue disappeared.

Visdum is well-suited for sales professionals like myself who are focused on achieving and surpassing monthly quotas and commission targets. The tool provides a clear and accurate representation of progress towards objectives, which has been highly motivating for me. I find myself checking in several times a week to track my earnings potential, and the time investment is minimal, typically just 5 minutes. However, there may be some lag at times in the data processing process. Enhancing this aspect to provide quicker access to detailed payout information would greatly enhance the overall user experience. Despite this limitation, Visdum remains an exceptional tool for sales performance monitoring and goal setting.

Pros

Visdum excels in automating sales tracking and commission calculations for us, replacing the need for manual processes. Before Visdum, our company used to handle commissions on Excel spreadsheets. Since each rep was given their own spreadsheet with multiple formulas and data points every payout cycle, there often were a lot of discrepancies. I maintained a detailed workbook to track my sales, invoicing dates, and payout percentages. Since implementing Visdum, I've been able to eliminate this tedious, manual system entirely, which helps me focus more on closing deals rather than worrying about whether I am paid correctly.

Cons

One area where Visdum could improve is in enhancing the loading time for commission reports and dashboards to provide quicker access to information. Overall, Visdum is an outstanding tool, and this enhancement would further elevate its performance.

My experience with Visdum has been largely positive, with a few minor challenges along the way. One of the standout features of Visdum is its seamless integration with Salesforce. The ability to easily import users and create and schedule data flows has streamlined our processes and made managing sales commissions much more efficient.

Pros

Integrating Salesforce, importing users, creating and scheduling data flows was surprisingly intuitive and painless. Sheer simplicity in calculating commissions, enabling us to review and publish commission statements for sales to view. We've received very positive feedback from our employees on Visdum's interface and the clarity it brings to commissions and the underlying calculations. Our onboarding and implementation was smooth, detailed, and they dedicated time to ensure we clearly grasped how plans are setup, promptly addressing any inquiries we had.

Cons

The reporting engine can be somewhat hard to grasp initially, but once set up, the reports are straightforward to manage. Our challenge lies in managing several plan variations with similar rules; while ability to clone plans is helpful to start with, updating formulas across multiple plans without individually modifying them would be a great feature to have.

Visdum is a great tool for comp management and commission tracking. Its versatility in creating and administering commission plans, enabling administrators to effectively manage compensation throughout the payout cycle, from the initial routing of sales compensation plans via DocuSign to sales reps, through to the point where they earn their commissions and receive payment, right down to making journal entries to the accounting system, is remarkable.

Pros

Visdum has surpassed expectations. Having worked with various comp tools over the last 5 years, Visdum stands out as the most user-friendly and adaptable option. It not only provides transparency for sales representatives but is also straightforward for sales leaders. It has very thoughtful features, such as the What-if calculator that they call "Estimator" (enabling reps to forecast potential earnings from future deals), an integrated ticketing system (the Dispute/Inquiry feature), customizable commission statements, reports, dashboards, and approval workflows.

Cons

There isn't anything specific I dislike about the tool. For those unfamiliar with Visdum and with excel/google sheets, the plan logic and formulas might initially seem peculiar, or certain features (like Reporting Engine) may appear challenging. However, with some training and familiarization, these features also become logical and straight forward.

Dispute queries between sales reps and finance were through the roof.
