Pros
After half a year of using Siemens NX, I have been amazed by its powerful 3D design and simulation capabilities thanks to its intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
It is a fun tool to master, and it seems the future with 3D printers makes it privately interesting to know how to do as one could be able to print their own components for varying uses.
Overall, good experience with NX. I have used for 8 months and so far I can say that this software is one of the best in the market.
I most like the multiple commands on modelling and I really like the fact that NX is very intuitive. Animation is not easy, but you can find resources online from Siemens.
Cons
Siemens NX is a high-end software and its licensing cost can be expensive, which may pose a limitation for small and medium-sized enterprises or independent designers with limited budgets.
It consumes a bit of RAM memory, which make the software slow. Drafting is a bit laggy and error sketchs.
Inability to quit a hung-up process, causing either massive delays or loss of work in the case of shutting down the application.
Be prepared for some trouble, however, as the tutorials quickly gets outdated as features are moved and renamed from time to time.

Overall: Siemens NX is a powerful and comprehensive software that is compatible with various software and file formats. It is widely used in the manufacturing industry.
Pros: The feature I love is the simulation and analysis of products: You can perform virtual tests to evaluate the strength, durability, and performance of products before their physical manufacturing, which can reduce costs and development time.
Cons: What I don't like is the collaboration aspect; the features it offers are a bit limited. I feel that they could do better, but overall it's still a good software.

Overall: I work with siemens NX during 1 year for a specific project and it was a really cool experience to discover this software.
Pros: I think the best things available in Siemens NX is the tree structures. It is directly comprehensible. After I really like the interface and the simplicity to use for all the different application like the sheet metal interface. Last thing, I really like is the compatibility to read a lot of file's format.
Cons: The speed of the application is realy slow when you have big products, for example just select a part can take 5min compare to 1s on Catia with the same computer.

Overall: The learning curve is a long and tedious process with lots of work arounds.
Pros: Has most design and drafting capabilities necessary for everyday engineering functions.
Cons: Lacks the simplicity and user driven capabilities of other software packages on the market.

Overall: For me NX is very user friendly CAD software for new user who are in primary leraning phase. NX gives step by step procedures when we are struggling to draw a part. along with this NX also shows the existing errors by each step of our designing. NX gives me clearity about how to draw and make complex desgin step by step. NX will give both offline and online support to user and this is very helpful for me.

This flexibility enables quick design iterations and easy modification of imported geometry from other CAD systems, enhancing productivity and collaboration. 2) NX supports extensive automation features such as customizable templates, feature-based modeling, and automated toolpath generation. These capabilities help streamline repetitive tasks and reduce manual intervention, leading to faster and more efficient workflows. 3) Siemens NX provides a fully integrated suite encompassing CAD, CAE, and CAM capabilities within a single platform. This integration allows seamless transition between design, analysis, and manufacturing processes, reducing the need for multiple software packages and ensuring data consistency. 4) NX integrates seamlessly with Siemens’ Teamcenter PLM software, facilitating robust data management, collaboration, and lifecycle management. This integration enhances traceability, reduces errors, and improves overall project coordination.
Cons: 1) It take time for NX to convert files from neutral file format. 2) Strong PLM integration with Teamcenter, but less seamless with Dassault products. 3) NX have lots of commands to exicute an same operation in different way so in some cases it is confusing. 4) Strong, but slightly less advanced than CATIA in surfacing.
"One of the best Cad programs out there!! "
Pros: I love how simple the application is and everything is inclusive. There are many tutorials based on NX that can help strengthen your skills accessed through their catalogs.
Cons: When you first start using it, it is a bit confusing as there are many components to learn but as you get the hang of it - it is fairly easy.
"Please improve usability, display full menus, fix glitches in display, graphics, and selection"
Overall: NX2206 with Teamcenter really is the worst package I have had to pick up in my 30+ years of 3D-CAD modelers
Pros: I can get it to work for my designs usually
Cons: NX2206 is very un-intuitive, extra steps required for simple feature creation and component mapping. Very poor re-usability of data, can't easily copy parts, at least to complicated to make useful without some deep dive into wavelinks, etc. Should be more productive, logical, select any object for curve creation in sketch.
"Siemens NX: A perfect design and simulation tool for engineering"
Overall: My overall experience with Siemens NX was productive and efficient, because this system, thanks to the multiple functions it offers, allowed me to do my work much more effectively and efficiently. Well, the function that served me the most was to generate the steps for the mass production of whatever I needed.

Another key point to highlight is that since I am an intern in the computer science degree, I needed to integrate it with other systems and I did it without much difficulty, obtaining incredible results. In addition, it has an extensive library of standard materials and parts, customization and automation, updates and continuous support.
Cons: Although Siemens NX seemed like a powerful and versatile tool to me, I must admit that it has some possible negative points that could be improved, for example: for certain small companies that are just starting to operate and require this system, it may be useful for them. high cost of acquisition and maintenance and that you can also find possible compatibility problems with other software and systems, and possible hardware and system resource needs to function efficiently.

"Can it do everything?"
Overall: The answer to the title is: seemingly yes. I have yet to encounter myself or hear from my professors what, in the domain of 3D modeling and simulation, this software is unable to do.
Pros: It is a fun tool to master, and it seems the future with 3D printers makes it privately interesting to know how to do as one could be able to print their own components for varying uses.
Cons: It takes time to learn. One at least needs a mouse and some patience, and should learn the software as every other complex system, part by part. Be prepared for some trouble, however, as the tutorials quickly gets outdated as features are moved and renamed from time to time.

Overall: If you need to build 3D models this is the right software.
Pros: My company bought Siemens NX to make 3D objects, especially those related to construction that can be integrated with other software we use to design projects in civil engineering. You will get a nice view of the surface and modeling design.
Cons: I have not developed a good talking with the customer service and this is what we expect when we pay so much for this software.

Overall: Je suis globalement très satisfait du logiciel NX et je trouve que c'est un bon complément à Catia pour certaines täches.
Pros: Etant habitué à Catia V5 et travaillant aussi avec NX, je trouve celui ci très complémentaire de Catia. Il est appréciable d'avoir un grand nombre de modules compris dans le package de base du logiciel. Le logiciel est donc plus complet que certains , je n'ai par exemple pas besoin de payer une licnence pour sauvegarder des fichiers en format step et je peux également faire des dépliés de tôles sans module suplémentaire.
Cons: Le logiciel pourrait être plus érgonomique et pouurait avoir des capacités de calcul plus rapide. Certaines tâches complexes prennent du temps.

Pros: Siemens NX est un logiciel complémentaire de Catia permettant d'accéder à d'autres fonctionnalités. Je recommande son utilisation.
Cons: Nx permet d'effectuer des tâches plus spécifiques avec une utlisation plus scolaire. La facilité des dépliages de tôles afin d'effectuer la mise plan, la conversion de format de fichier sont des plus accessibles gratuitement contrairement à d'autres logiciels. De plus l'arbre de construction est simple d'utilisation.
"Muito completo, porém requer muito treinamento e prática."
Overall: É um software muito poderoso, com uma excelente matemática, dificilmente apresenta travamento, sempre te soluções, mesmo para as geometrias mais complexas. Precisa de muito treinamento para se obter 100% do software.
Pros: A capacidade de trabalhar com várias pessoas ao mesmo tempo, todas numa só montagem parametrizada ao mesmo tempo. Algumas pessoas fazendo detalhamento 2d, enquanto outras modelam o 3d de outras peças.
Cons: Alguns comandos são de difícil execução comparado a outros softwares.

Cons: Required some trainning at the start but nothing to serious. Not the best option considering the price but it gets the job done.

Overall: Great software to carry out 2D and 3D projects, including planning assembly steps. After using this trial version I am now interested in using the full version to explore the software.
Pros: The trial version is great for having your first contact with the basic features of the software.
Cons: Because it is a trial version, some drawing or measurement tools are not displayed clearly or are not released for use.
