Very easy to use, manage and control multiple SKU items Pros Easy to use, does what we require and able to manage stock our way with the software. Able to print QR codes for Batch number and best before dates. Cons Not being able to edit the functions on the handheld devices. The hand held device has sometimes played up, where it has not list an item in best before date order, meaning the wrong stock has been picked. We have had to expand our goal because so many users were requesting access. Pros The ease of use. It really is easy to use. I rarely have any users that report having any issues . Pros It's mostly self-contained. I completely about 85% of the functionality with the Program. Cons Number 1, software updates a a huge growing pain. Number 2, I personally with it was more of a CRM like experience, that could tie in thing like emails and notes. Number 3, lack of finer reporting details. If an items is edited with the edit page, their is no tracking regarding the previous data or whom made the edit. At the beginning it was easy to book time with our Sales Rep and to get all my questions answered. Now when I have questions, the response time of the Support Team is very quick. Pros It's very easy to enter your inventory. Even though our company is unique in the way we use the software, we were able to make it work for what we needed it for. Cons The reports are not very user-friendly. I thought I could design my own reports to meet the needs of our company, but it turns out not all data is available to use as a source on every report. Pros consolidation and tracking are great, the amount of reports available is amazing and the ability to flag slow moving inventory has been a huge cost saver no more losing out on return dollars be the item is outside return window Cons does not seem optimized for fast turn around and high volume. cannot bulk receive, all items on an invoice need to be received individually. fine for a few lines but 200 plus line item orders are cumbersome, cannot create or populate orders from handheld must be done at workstation and again fine for a few lines but larger orders can be a slog. The training before implementation wasn't as helpful as the training after implementation, but that was because I didn't know what to ask at first. Pros It's very easy to use to keep track of our supplies. I also like that I can add new items and make changes. Cons Initial setup was complicated, but the technicians were very helpful in that process. There were mistakes I made because I didn't know what I was doing, but they guided me through the process. I wish I had been able to talk directly to the person who did the implementation instead of emails back and forth which, I think, made the process take longer than it needed to be. We may be able to rate it higher after we've had more time with the program Pros Familiarity. We were using an old version of Wasp Inventory so the transition to this version was just a matter of getting acquainted with newer features. Cons InventoryCloud is way more complicated/involved for our needs. We simply want to know what we have and where it is. We would like to know how many skids we have and how many pieces we have total. skids can be inconsistent and might have different quantities per skid. I have had very hard times contacting customer support, and when there is an error that doesn't seem to make sense, getting in contact with customer support makes it feel even more impossible. I do however like the ease of use, it's very user friendly from a visible standpoint and doesn't deter new users like other inventory softwares do. WASP is perfect for small businesses with minimal moving parts that need basic inventory tracking at a fair price. Only with larger businesses will you see WASP's functionality decline. For our business, we believe we have exceeded WASP's capabilities. Pros What I like most about this software is that it is easy to introduce new users too. The interface is simple and easy to understand for people who may have not used an inventory system before. The design on the handheld devices is easily digestible and doesn't discourage new users because of its simple and familiar feeling interface. Cons Barcode customization and tracking has been incredibly painstaking to use. Many customization features are not easily available, even something as simple as adjusting the size of a barcode. The search features, while available, are very difficult to understand. Filtering the search items only further complicates the search itself. It would be nice if there was a filter just to see a single days moves, or if there is an existing filter for this, for it to be more obvious to the user. This system has helped us to completely eliminate paper records while accurately determining where our equipment is at all times. Cons For our purposes, the barcode feature by SKU was not utilized as it was meant to be. Since we often order from different vendors, the products we receive are often labeled differently and do not have the same barcodes. Pros Once you get the system set up to your needs and how to efficiently operate it, it is easy and quick to do your day to day tasks at any level. It's great to be able to access your information from anywhere. Cons if there is any network interference during any transaction type you will loose your progress. The other the issue i have is there are times when you will complete a transaction but the system wont register the transaction. Cons everything else is extremely difficult to use and input. Customer service is horrible and the staff for the most part in all my experiences calling in, are curt, unfriendly and not very knowledgable/helpful. Almost seems like its a task for them to be helping you out for the high price you pay for this software. Our company is very strongly considering switching to another platform.
