President Construction Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Procore to SmartBuild" November 7, 2023 4.0 GEN-PRO switched from Procore to SmartBuild. At the beginning there were holes where we found items that SmartBuild couldn't do that Procore did but working with the support team, they have been implementing new features that our team had concerns with. The Platform continues to get better and the ease of use is fantastic. Pros The Support Team is incredible. They continue to update and bring new features. The platform is continually improving Cons Safety Forms need to be updated to be in line with COR 2020 Reason for choosing SmartBuild After discussions with the \[sensitive content hidden\]. He came across very knowledgeable about Construction being a GC himself. \[sensitive content hidden\] gave me confidence in his product and that it will continually improve over time. Switched from [Procore](https://www.capterra.com/p/56250/Procore/) The biggest driving force for switching was Procores pricing model. Customer Service is knowledgeable and dedicated to ensuring each team member is trained to use the program to its fullest potential. Pros Using the platform allows our team to input their daily project reports and photos and generate RFI's in no time - accessing these features allows everyone to communicate faster and more efficiently. Cons N/A - we are very happy with the construction software platform. Reason for choosing SmartBuild SmartBuild proved to be the most effective construction software in the industry. As a plumbing contractor, our transition from old-school estimating and accounting to an easy-to-adapt software where all the tools were generated to be user-friendly was key....clearly the developer understands the construction industry and how time-saving is important. Cons The pictures are grainy and cannot be tagged Trade(s) specific for search purposes I would like an offline option, when internet is weak. President Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Save Time Save Money" August 29, 2023 5.0 Smartbuild has helped us with our paper work from the field to the office, having it all in one place saves us time and money to run our business. The job site photos that are uploaded for the office staff to see and monitor is priceless. Pros The project specific email that helps you focus on the one project you are working on, Also the easy of getting all your documents to interact with each other ( accounting with PO's) with out having to cut and paste them into a document. Cons the message centre as a small red line that show's unread emails, just need that bigger to see. We find this tool simple to use. Features are easy to understand and implement. It Matches the flow of construction on site as well in office. Addition of accounting and online drawings mark up features made it more usfull for any construction project. " September 25, 2023 5.0 I can honestly say that Smartbuild has been a very good addition to my toolkit Pros I have been using Smartbuild now for about 2 to 3 years.In that time I have found it an invaluable tool for my day today operation on site. The ability to manage all of my safety data organized and readily available. The ability to review, comment and markup drawings has also been a remarkable time saver. It has helped us consolidate all of our systems into one, It's an All in one software!. It is very easy to use and has saved us tons of time on our projects. Cons We haven't had any issues at all. We were missing some Health and Safety forms but we contacted the help desk and they were able to help. Pros I believe SmartBuild is a very helpful and useful tool for organizing and managing my projects. The preset fields save a lot of time when preparing the various project documents. Cons I am a relatively new user of Smartbuild and I'm still trying to understanding how all documents tie together and integrate. I am still trying to figure out how some areas will fit my business requirements.
