Byteplant is a simple and effective solution for keeping contact lists clean and sustainably improving the quality of email marketing.

Pros

Using Byteplant is a no-brainer for me. I don’t want to send emails to addresses that no longer exist or are invalid. That’s why this tool is so valuable, especially for maintaining clean contact lists. The improved data quality is particularly helpful for us, as it has a direct positive impact on our sender reputation. This noticeably supports our email marketing efforts. Additionally, the interface is straightforward and easy to understand, making it quick and simple to use. Pros Great value for money Higher data quality Better sender reputation Simple, intuitive interface Useful for regular list maintenance

Cons

A minor drawback, in my view, is that the process can sometimes take quite a long time. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend Byteplant, ideally for regular use once a month.

Pros

Needing a "live" email validation wit PHP API, Byteplant E-Mail Validator was very easy to implement thanks to good documentation and code samples. After first test, the product seems to provide quite good value for money. We especially like the timely unlimited subscription where we can subscribe an amount of verifications that is not time bound as use the tool not regularly (e.g. weekly).

Cons

The subscription model provides only address verification in rather large batches (10'000) steps. Technically we could not find any darksides we did not like so far.

Byteplant helped me clean a large list before importing it into my CRM. The validation definitely reduced the number of bounces compared to sending without checking first. However, I had to dig into the result codes to understand the difference between “true valid” and “catch-all,” which is critical if you want to keep bounce rates under control. With clearer reporting, it would be nearly perfect.

Pros

The validation process was fast and straightforward. The report was detailed with clear result codes, which made it easy to see which emails were valid, catch-all, suspect, or invalid. I also appreciated the ability to download results with different filters (valid only, include catch-all, etc.), which gave flexibility in how to use the data.

Cons

Catch-all addresses are counted as “valid” in the totals, which can be misleading. It made me think I had more 100% safe addresses than I actually did. I would have preferred if Byteplant separated “valid deliverable” (200) from “catch-all” (207) in the summary stats, so the risk was clearer upfront.

The valuation of the email addresses came fast and in a very good quality. Especially the classification: suspect and invalid email addresses. The customer support was very helpful.

Cons

There ist really nothing so far to complaint about. The overall experience with Byteplant was very good.

It is almost correct, give me more convenience, only several domain like yahoo, gmail, hotmail needs to update with more data

It works perfectly, I like it. There are many emails in my works, sometimes I need to verify which email works, so I need to use a validator.

Cons

some domain like @yahoo.com, validator shows ok green, actually it is no valid email address, so some domain needs to care more.

Die Turngemeinschaft Rüsselsheim 1862 e.V. entschied sich im Oktober 2024 für die Abschaffung des Papierformulars für die Mitgliederanmeldung. Der neue Workflow wurde mit NEXT UI umgesetzt. Eine Anforderung war mit der Digitalisierung die Datenqualität grundsätzlich zu verbessern - unter Beibehaltung der DSGVO. Über die reine HTML Validierung hinaus blieb nur die eingegebene E-Mail Adresse des Antragstellers direkt online zu validieren. Hierzu wurden drei Anbieter geprüft und Byteplant konnte am Ende in den Themen einfache Implementierung, Schnelligkeit und Genauigkeit der Validierung als auch DSGVO Konformität überzeugen.

Pros

1\. Einfache Implementierung der API in NEXT UI und über Plugin in Wordpress 2. Die Geschwindigkeit der Validierung 3. DSGVO konform

Cons

Ich würde mir wünschen, dass ich in meinem Account noch eine zweite API für Developmentzwecke einrichten kann.

The results were instantaneous and allowed me to quickly identify any invalid or problematic addresses in my database. I was very pleased with the accuracy of the validation.

Pros

Overall, I found the email validation service to be extremely helpful, reliable, and cost effective. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to clean up their email database and ensure successful email delivery.The API was easy to integrate with my app via Zapier.

Cons

The online user interface could be designed to be easier to navigate, but it's not a big deal at all.
