Pros Using Byteplant is a no-brainer for me. I don’t want to send emails to addresses that no longer exist or are invalid. That’s why this tool is so valuable, especially for maintaining clean contact lists. The improved data quality is particularly helpful for us, as it has a direct positive impact on our sender reputation. This noticeably supports our email marketing efforts. Additionally, the interface is straightforward and easy to understand, making it quick and simple to use. The validation definitely reduced the number of bounces compared to sending without checking first. However, I had to dig into the result codes to understand the difference between “true valid” and “catch-all,” which is critical if you want to keep bounce rates under control. With clearer reporting, it would be nearly perfect. Pros The validation process was fast and straightforward. The report was detailed with clear result codes, which made it easy to see which emails were valid, catch-all, suspect, or invalid. I also appreciated the ability to download results with different filters (valid only, include catch-all, etc.), which gave flexibility in how to use the data. Cons Catch-all addresses are counted as “valid” in the totals, which can be misleading. It made me think I had more 100% safe addresses than I actually did. I would have preferred if Byteplant separated “valid deliverable” (200) from “catch-all” (207) in the summary stats, so the risk was clearer upfront. Review Source JD Jens D. After first test, the product seems to provide quite good value for money. We especially like the timely unlimited subscription where we can subscribe an amount of verifications that is not time bound as use the tool not regularly (e.g. weekly). Simple to use. Appreciate the fact that they take the security seriously and commit to deleting all the data with two weeks, somehow it gives you a peace of mind. Pros We use Email Validator for one of our projects in the cryptocurrency and blockchain niche. Daily we get plenty of new subscriptions so we have a monthly subscription option. We use the API which is quite convenient, had no problems installing it on our website and occasionally run bulk list cleaning. The reports are quite detailed which is great. We just upload our list and get the results. Everything is very intuitive, quick and easy. Cons List cleaning takes 48 hours so you have to plan ahead, however, we appreciate the thoroughness over the ‘speed’.
