CEO Health, Wellness and Fitness, Self-employed Used the software for: Less than 6 months ** Overall Rating 1.0 ** Ease of Use 1.0 Customer Service 1.0 Features 1.0 Value for Money 1.0 Reviewer Source Source: Capterra November 11, 2025 "Fraudulent Scammers with a broken app and a bot driven support department" **Overall:** Horrible, scammers, app doesn’t work and the customer service department is an uncaring Ai robot who just repeats itself no matter what you say. **Pros:** The experience was unilaterally awful and there was nothing to like, the app doesn’t work and the support department doesn’t care. **Cons:** They scammed me - I signed up for 1 month and they charged me for 1 year. Their support department refused to correct the issue. I signed up to download videos from someone who stores on Mega - when I try to download I get the error “insufficient disk space” even though the video is only 1GB and I have 15GB free on my iPad and 3TB free in Mega. So I was fraudulently charged over $100 and still can’t download the videos. **Switched From:** [Google Drive](https://www.capterra.com/p/161425/Drive/) **Reasons for Switching to MEGA:** I falsely believed Mega would work but it did not and I regret my choice to use Mega. It's just another wetransfer, don't take it as a cloud because you'll wake up without cracking. I do not recommend if you have important documents. I lost my pictures, documents, everything. **Pros:** I liked the desktop app, but they will delete the files if you store them there, I don't recommend it. **Cons:** They will delete all your files. It only stores files for a short period of time.
