Cons We faced some bugs using their LinkedIn automations. But the support was always eager to help. Which is a good point. Review Source David T. I have been trying to scale my lead gen efforts and in the last 2 weeks have scaled it rapidly. Instead of going to LinkedIn profile after profile to scrape them one at a time, or paying a VA to do it, I am now just spending 3 minutes setting up a flow and then in most cases getting the data 5-20 minutes later. Automation is the present and the future and I feel like CaptainData is at the edge of no code automation. If you think that doing everything in LinkedIn manually is "better" then you are deluding yourself. Cut/Paste is usually a waste of your resources when you can automate so much of your data collection to a tool as good and reliable as Captain Data. Pros It works well, is mostly intuitive, and it can save SOOOOO much time. For instance once you know what you want it to do in LinkedIn, SalesNav or otherwise, you can build a flow, or flows, that do it. Once you build it you never have to do manual work in LinkedIn ever again really. Saves hours of work each week for one person. Now times that by how many team members you have and you have saved multiple employees worth of time. You can then put your employees on tasks that are not mindless in nature. The Magic Link is incredible btw. You can run multiple team members, or clients, accounts from one workspace without sharing log in details. Once I figured it out-takes like 10 min-it was a game changer. Cons No real complaints. I have only run into two issues and in both cases I was able to resolve them in 10-20 minutes by looking up the integration in the docs and following the instructions. Both issues were user error by the way. If I need a con I would say I would love more videos. But they are building out an academy and the docs explain how to do everything. Reason for choosing Captain Data Usability, no code, and the flow builder flows a lot better than most of the Phantom workflows you have to build. Review Source JL Jerry L. Especially considering we have invested in the platform's potential for a significant length of time. It feels as though I'm being penalized for making a long-term commitment to the product.In essence, while I have been very satisfied with the capabilities of Captain Data, the restrictive policies on new features have tarnished my overall experience. I'm writing this review with the hope that Captain Data can reconsider this approach and find a more equitable solution for their lifetime customers, thereby truly valuing our long-term commitment.For now, as much as it pains me, I can only give Captain Data two stars. I hope in the future I can improve this score once these concerns are adequately addressed. Pros I have been using Captain Data for my Digital Agency for quite some time now and genuinely appreciate the product's capabilities. The power of automation it provides has been instrumental in our Lead Generation services. Therefore, it's with disappointment that I write this review. Cons I currently hold an Appsumo Tier3 lifetime plan, which, while it offers a significant 100,000 tasks per month, does not grant me access to the newer features such as the 'LinkedIn Rotation'. When I contacted Captain Data's support for assistance, I was told to 'upgrade' to a different plan which unfortunately feels more like a 'downgrade'. Review Source Pedro A. And it's awesome that CaptainData has so many integrations to do everything. And when you don't have them, just use their webhook and API system- Pretty much every scraper you we'll need, CaptainData has it. Their website scraper is awesome too.- Email cascade is pretty awesome Cons When you have a workflow with more than 3 steps, you can't collect data for them all. It saves so much time to have to use one tool that combine features from 5 other ones. Pros Their integrations are unmatch. It is a tool made by growths for growths. It saves so much time thanks to their useful workflows. Also the fact that they have parternships with other enrichment tools is crazy. You won't have to buy other tools basically. Cons Interface could be clearer Api can sometimes be a bit hard to understand due to changes Sometimes the workflows can have confusing names The pricing is harsh Review Source Alfredo D. September 5, 2023 5.0 I'm still in the early stages, but the ease with which it handles data is incredibly encouraging. And again, if for any reason you get stuck or get some errors while running your workflow, there is plenty of tutorials or documentation to support you. And if you still need help, their help desk is awesome. Pros The user experience is spot-on, especially for someone like me who navigates English as a second language. It's intuitive and you have real-time help tutorial as you set your workflow. Cons Although I got stuck at the very beginning, but this at no fault of Captain Data since some Apps do go through constant authorization changes, I got fast and friendly support help from their customer support area. This allow for extraction of information from many data sources and from different data entries. The workflow templates are a great thing to get started and usually you always find a workflow to use instead of creating from scratch which can be challenging. Cons The product is still in its early development and so is exposed to a lot of minor bugs. However the support and the tech team are very responsive and helpful in addressing the issues. Cons He has his own email search, and credits will be deducted regardless of whether the email is found, so the limit is very low.Common linkedin scrapers have data cleaning.There is also captain data. Ils ont vendu une licence à vie pour un logiciel qu'ils ont décidé de discontinuer sans offrir de remboursement. On avait pris une licence avec un tiers supérieur, le maximum qu'ils proposaient, qui donnait cinq-cent-mille crédits par mois, ce qui était énorme pour notre équipe, et maintenant on n'a accès à plus rien, le compte a été fermé. C'est une démarche que je trouve très sale et vraiment peu professionnel, sachez que c'est comme ca que vous pouvez être traiter en travaillant avec eux. En plus, le logiciel est compliqué à configurer et n'est pas facile à gérer au départ. La courbe de compétences est longue, tout ce temps perdu c'est une catastrophe. Pros Actuellement plus rien du tout, j'en ai été dégouté ! Fut un temps où je pensais qu'on allait pouvoir baser nos process de growth dessus, mais franchement j'aurais dû me méfier de leur éthique. Cons J'ai utilisé Captain Data pour automatiser les processus à grande échelle, mais j'ai vécu une mauvaise expérience. Ils ont soudainement discontinué le logiciel sans remboursement, malgré l'achat d'une licence à vie, ce que je trouve inacceptable. La configuration était compliquée et le logiciel difficile à gérer. Je ne le recommande pas. Pros Captain Data is an amazing platform for automating data extraction. It's a no code platform and very easy to learn. It gives you the flexibility to automate your own processes and integrate with any application. Cons I focused on two workflows. Following/unfollowing Instagram & Twitter followers. Even though there were limits imposed, it still resulted in a Twitter suspension. It wasn't a new account, only one with minimal but consistent use since '08.
