### "Worth the money!"

Overall, I think it’s a fantastic product and it truly does save money versus paying staff for 2-3 hours worth of reminder calls.

Pros

I love how customizable all of the reminders can be, it really is endless and meets the needs of your specific clinic.

Cons

I wish it integrated more with our PIMS so that say when a client confirms an appointment with their AllyDVM communication, it would be able to mark it confirmed within our PIMS.

### "Excellent program with phenomenal customer support"

Excellent. Don't ever want to get rid of it! There are so many features to learn still to maximize our benefits.

Pros

AllyDVM is a robust scheduling and reminder platform that takes some time to learn. From implementation to now two years using AllyDVM, I have always felt incredibly supported by my account manager(s) and the entire team at AllyDVM. If I ever have a question about how to do something, I am supported and even given advice on what other practices do and how I might utilize a feature even better.

Cons

It does not integrate fully with our PIMS (writeback feature), so conversations had in the Ally platform are not saved or reflected in the patient chart.

Pet Health Network Pro (Idexx) - PHNP was not customizable enough. The only thing I appreciated about PHNP was the writeback feature that captured every conversation that occurred through the platform and saved it to the medical record.

### "Allydvm Retention Calendar and Mass Email "

My overall experience was decent, I like the two way texting, if I would change anything it would be a different layout for the retention calendar and AllyDvm was pretty expensive.

Pros

The mass email options and the fact that most of the mass emails are templated out for you.

Cons

The whole setup was confusing, the retention calendar did not seem as great and we never really used it.

Mwi had alot to do with this, they recommended allydvm over petdesk. Petdesk was too pushy.

### "I have loved them since I met them."

Dealing with the staff is a dream. They're responsive and kind and I couldn't ask for better. They're great at finding and fixing mistakes. They are one of the only companies that can integrate with our practice software correctly without us having to "make do" or use work arounds.

Pros

We can customize our reminders to clients to our hearts content. There is almost nothing you can't do with the reminders-- they can be created based on species, clients, providers, time of day, when they were made, and so many other options.

Cons

Their newsletter creation software is very barebones. I'd love to see them flesh it out a lot more with more WYSIWYG.

Reason for choosing AllyDVM

They let us try it for free for a month. Given how much trouble we've had with integration with other services (for anything with our PIMS) it was scary to think about paying a set-up fee for something that might not work better than what we were already using. The free trial made all the difference. The set up was nearly seamless and was absolutely pain free for me!

### "AllyDVM Versatility "

Overall, AllyDVM is easy to use and extremely helpful with client communications in all aspects ex: mass emails, automatic, and dms.

Pros

The versatility of AllyDVM mass emails, automatic communications, and direct messages is extremely helpful. Their retention calendar is also very helpful for my receptionists to capture missing information or overdue pets.

Cons

Their overall look is a bit outdates from their appointment requests/emails. Would be nice if they updated it a bit.

Cons

The interface could be a bit more streamlined. It feels like some options are buried in a lot of submenus.

Used daily for client communication and reminders; everything from holiday closures to medication pickups to appointment reminders all in one!

Pros

Makes it so easy to communicate with clients without having to pickup the phone. Two way texting, mass email capabilities.

Cons

Can create more work with the retention calendar, but also a good way to keep clients up to date

### "Overpriced reminders"

Overall we have not used this software to its full potental because it is not relevant to our practice. The services that AllyDVM give us, at cost, are services our phone company has avaiable for no added charge.

Pros

Our clinic appreciated the automatic reminders avaiable through AllyDVM.

Cons

The cost of AllyDVM services was much more than how much we used the services.

Pros

There are many features that are the most impactful with this software, I use the texting / appointment confirming feature the most. It is so easy to send clients a quick text with all the info they need to know instead of having to call and wait for an answer only to sometimes still have to leave a voicemail, then sometimes people don't have a voicemail set up. The automatic vaccination reminders are great as well, at my previous job we would have to handwrite all of the vaccine reminder and sometimes it would be hundreds of them, AllyDVM is able to do that with ease.

Cons

I think this feature is overall excellent, from my standpoint there is nothing I would change about it.

### "AllyDVM in Vet Med"

Pros

What I like best about using AllyDVM at the vet clinic is that clients are able to request appointments without having to call the clinic. It is convenient for the client and the hospital.

Cons

If I could change anything about AllyDVM I would make it to where I could get a push notification when there are appointment requests so we don't miss anything.

We had a free trial of AllyDVM and absolutely LOVED IT. After the free trial was over, we could not justify continue with it due the cost. For clarification, we had a new, first time practice owner who was unsure about starting out and had money concerns

Pros

The way it was integrated with Cornerstone was a game changer. A very valuable program that saves time.

Cons

100% the cost. If it cost less for all of the options, we would have this program and never look back.

It was a free trial.
